DEAR AMERICAN MACCABEES,
TURNAROUND. I SAW THE GAVEL FALL. And I heard the words “It has begun.” 

Often when the Holy Spirit is emphasizing that an expression of His verdict has been activated, He will show me a vision of a gavel falling. That’s when I know the covenantal verdict He has spoken to me about has been secured and released. Then He who judges and makes war engages with the earth realm. And, if Washington DC is a valid example, catalytic change then becomes just a matter of time. 

Some projects take longer than others. But there is a rare and precious consistency in both His confirmation and His dealings in the earth. I write this in holy awe. Also holy fear. None of this is ever to be taken for granted. Presumption remains a danger to avoid—at all costs. 

IT HAS BEGUN!
For instance, the Lord spoke to me that 7-22 in Alaska was meant for the unsealing of His verdict. I made decrees from the substance of expressions I knew to encompass His verdict. But it was not until our Olympia gathering that I actually saw the gavel of the Ancient of Days fall. Then and there I knew His verdict had been unsealed. A west coast turnaround had been secured, including the next phase of the Jesus Revolution and the rescuing of His west coast lampstand. The evening service was largely dedicated to announcing the three-word phrase accompanying the vision. “IT HAS BEGUN!”

REVOLUTIONARY VERDICT, FREEDOM MOVEMENT
It’s important to note that God’s freedom movements are often birthed out of such verdicts. The Exodus movement began with a Throne Room verdict. God “heard” the groanings of His people and “remembered” His covenant. He literally held a courtroom hearing—shema—taking the testimonies of His people during a brutal enslavement entirely to heart. He remembered, or kept their testimony before Him, even as He remembered, or took into consideration His covenant promise to His people. 

Thousands of years later, God’s people assembled to make a similar plea. On May 17, 1776, representatives from the thirteen colonies sought God with prayer and fasting as they were struggling to gain consensus on birthing a new nation. God broke through! 

This experience was carried over to the issuing of the Declaration of Declaration of Independence. Our founders literally sought a verdict from Heaven’s Court! ”We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the World concerning the rectitude of our intentions…” 

HIS VERDICT IN OUR TIME
God has granted a similar verdict over the freedom movement of our time. Pursuit of this verdict, such a key aspect of the Spirit of America movement, took us from the birthplace of the American Revolution—Faneuil Hall Boston—to Alaska, a gateway for the Ancient of Days, to the epicenter of the Jesus Revolution in California for the start and culmination of our west coast tour. 

On the 250th anniversary of American independence, we started and finished with revolution. And not just revolution. Victory in the revolution! After 40 years, cycles of oppression must now break. Capitols must now become uncorked, unsealing their greatest potential for freedom. Governments must shift.

That said, president John Quincy Adams said it best when he observed, “Duty is ours; results are God’s.” From coast to coast, the Spirit of America Tour that has borne witness to the covenantal verdict the Lord has desired to grant. What has been set in motion must be stewarded. THANK GOD FOR THE GENUINE  WARRIORS FROM COAST TO COAST who carry His firm resolve!

RESCUING THE WEST COAST LAMPSTAND
From San Diego to Anchorage to San Diego, we ministered in nine cities with eleven key gatherings. 9-11. In Alaska the Lord instructed me that the nine cities represented for the west coast a nine-branched menorah known as a “Hanukkiah.” The Hanukkiah is lit over Hanukkah to celebrate the Maccabees’ dramatic victory in which God’s Temple was recaptured from the brutal army of pagan Greece. The menorah was relit to rededicate the Temple back to the God of Israel. 

Jesus is moving with His people to rescue the covenantal lampstand of the west coast!

Ed Watts, Jolene and I all felt a similar movement was now in play for the West Coast. As a revolution, it is very similar to the Maccabee movement in Israel’s history. Where an unlikely band of spiritual revolutionaries defied all odds and took back their capitol. They took back God’s temple, and rededicated it to the Lord by rescuing and relighting the lampstand. 

In Sacramento I spoke about this lampstand revolution. Then Ed Watts unexpectedly spent the remainder of the extended service  teaching and prophesying about God’s Maccabee movement in the west coast!

It’s time to recover first-love devotion to Jesus. Just as King David searched for the Ark of the Covenant to restore it, so the Lord desires all of us to seek the restoration of our Throne Room lampstands. Many of our Spirit-fueled lamps have dimmed. Many have been 

9-11 COUNTDOWN
At the very same time, the 9-11 symbology also represents a 9-11 Countdown. To what? We covered this subject yesterday in our Turnaround Tuesday broadcast. It is interesting that Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year, BEGINS THE EVENING OF 9-11.  

Something major is in play on a national and global scale. Not sure what. But it explains why it has been vital for us to see the rededication of America, and the securing of Holy Spirit’s release as the “Spirit of America,” before the new year begins. For those who are interested in the countdown to the Countdown, as of today we are 37 days away.

I honestly did not know what to call the gathering before writing this posting. Wild! All I knew is that when we ministered at the Launch Houston this spring, the Holy Spirit spoke clearly for us to minister there again on 9-11! 

If you’ve followed Lamplighter through the years you know 9-11 marks a sacred date of solemn remembrance for us. It was quite a surprise to discover that this year, the date actually marks the beginning of the new Hebrew year. 

That said, I felt the Lord saying that it was essential that we engaged in the Spirit of America Tour, bearing witness to His covenant from coast to coast and GAINING HIS VERDICT AND VICTORY, before this potentially volatile intersection of 9-11 and Rosh Hashanah was at hand. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. 

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! We are grateful for all who engaged with us, prayed with us, invested in the work, and resolved to steward the blessing being granted. Our work has just begun.
