DEAR TESHUVAH WATCHMEN,
THE PROPHETIC COUNTDOWN CONTINUES! AND THE KING IS IN THE FIELD. Today we’re going to explore a few keys of access which will allow you to truly find you King in this season. If you want times of refreshing to overflow to you from His Spirit, from His presence, one thing is necessary. TURN TO HIM.
Especially in repentance.
With this at heart, today in our post and on Turnaround Tuesday I want to revisit a few expressions of the Dan. 7:22 “turnaround verdict” we felt the Lord was unsealing and activating during our Spirit of America tour. Our previous posting on this subject gives 12 points, but today we will focus on just three. Ponder them before the Lord. And then lets respond wholeheartedly.
1. “I GAVE THEM TIME TO REPENT…”
Jesus is full of mercy. His verdicts always reflect His mercy, towards both individuals and institutions. Even if they don’t appear to at first. Why? Because many times the fuller release of His mercy depends on the response of the recipient.
Take the following scripture, for instance. “I gave her time to repent, but she would not repent…” (Rev. 2:21).
This passage was highlighted to me during our west coast tour, while keeping watch at a distance over a very troubling situation which has dragged on for more than a year. Suddenly the word of the Lord broke in. “I GAVE THEM TIME TO REPENT, BUT THEY DID NOT WANT TO.”
Many have falsely assumed that their calling, stature, wealth, influence, position or presumed authority to control others grants them immunity from God’s mandatory process of teshuvah. As though they have a divine right to take advantage of others without consequence. Many have chosen simply to elude rather than make things right. No negative repercussions, right? Almost like they got away with it? Or even like God approved?
Too big to fail? Well, not really. Instead many have simply SQUANDERED THEIR TIME TO REDEEM THE TIME, even as more pronounced discipline now draws near. Including for some the removal of His lampstands from their midst. In this season, this is a key aspect of God’s Daniel 7:22 verdict.
Remember—it’s the goodness of God that leads us to repentance. Lets all take advantage of this limited window for teshuvah. Ask the Lord to show you what you might be missing. Make no assumptions.
This leads to another prophetic word which was spoken to me by Holy Spirit during the west coast Spirit of America tour, directly from the Throne.
2. “NOT IN MY HOUSE!”
A fresh holiness is beginning to encompass the House of the Lord once again. Many are beginning to experience holy awe as they host Holy Spirit, the One whose presence provokes us to awe.
Here’s a key we often forget. Holy Spirit is HOLY! In this crossover time, many defiling actions seemingly tolerated through previous seasons are going to be met with greater consequences. God’s House shall be a house of prayer for all nations. And the purifying of His house has been decreed.
The Lord is raising the standard of holy living for those who tend His fire. Can you sense it? No more mixture with the false fire of sorcery or witchcraft, idolatry or sexual immorality, abuse or thievery or ungodly control.
The Lord is continuing to partner with His people to rescue their lampstands. Which means He is moving in real-time to rescue His House from dens of thieves, both internally and externally. Again, Heaven’s gavel is falling regarding the intentional defrauding of vision, mission, messaging, people, resources etc. It is falling on intentional thefts of relationships. All of this is a clear form of covenant-breaking. Time to evaluate, and realign accordingly.
A new apostolic justice movement is now at hand. A new throne of glory movement is also now at hand. A new level of sanctity is required, especially among leadership, to lead Christ’s body into experiencing this greater measure of Heaven on earth. And it’s time to realign to gain Christ’s dream. Again—NOT IN MY HOUSE!
3. “APPROACH THE BENCH, REDEEM THE TIME!” (9-11).
As we move towards 9-11 this year I am praying we redeem the time. Acts 3:19-21 conveys to us that, by entering into teshuvah, we can actually repair the past to redeem the present and secure God’s dream for our future. That’s actually our third prophetic word—such a good word—directly from God’s throne!
“Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be washed away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you, whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things, about which God spoke by the mouths of His holy prophets from ancient times” (Acts 3:19). .
And in an astonishing way, the passage deeply connects with 9-1-01. During the immediate aftermath of the September 11 attacks, Dutch Sheets ministered in Boise, Idaho. In what he has described as a sacred prophetic experience, Dutch saw the words of Acts 3:19 directly by Holy Spirit for our land. It was literally like a scroll unfurled for that hour.
And as of 9-11-26, this same scroll is unfurling again! Acts 3:19 became a hallmark passage both in Burbank and Boise. As we approach 9-11 this year, it is wise for us to genuinely heed the admonition.
When I first wrote about this a few weeks ago, I mentioned my sense that unusual access to the Court of Heaven is being granted through Rosh Hashanah on to Yom Kippur. We have a key window to realign AND make Jesus first! Restoring covenant fidelity is imperative as we launch together into 5787. LETS TURN FULLY TO JESUS!
THE PROPHETIC COUNTDOWN PROJECT
With this at heart, it’s time to announce the Prophetic Countdown Project, with a 21-day period of engagement with the Lord from August 22 through September 11. Much of our focus will be watchman prayer for our nation, for Israel and Iran. The prophet Daniel is once again our example. And the project will provide an intentional on-ramp to turn wholeheartedly so that we can receive His turnaround in our lives and in our nation. No King but Jesus!
