CALL 911! GLOBAL TREMORS AND THE MIDNIGHT WAVE
THE WORLD AWOKE this morning to global economic shaking. Drudge reported stocks plunging 666 points in pre-market trading. If that’s not a sign, I don’t know what is.
Has a tsunami wave now been released?
Our first instinct is to find someone to blame. China. The Federal Reserve. In the midst of this frenzy, maybe it hasn’t occurred to the politicians, talking heads and masters of the universe that something else entirely may be in play.
Like a storm warning. God’s call for a life-giving course correction. Maybe it’s time we shift some of the blame back on ourselves—leaders especially—and humble ourselves before Him.
Storm Warnings
The Lord has rarely given me warning dreams. But on Monday, July 13, the day before the Iranian nuclear accords were announced, I had a dream that shook me to the core. I was already planning to revisit it today when news broke of the emerging global tremors.
Most of you are familiar with the dream. A tsunami was rushing towards Washington DC. The Lord spoke that Capitol Hill was a last line of defense.
Through economic shakings and prophetic warnings from many respected leaders, God is issuing a storm warning. It’s very wise to take corrective measures now to prevent future loss!
Remember the Lord
We began this prayer project on 8:18 because God was calling us to remember Him as our source of blessing. From Deuteronomy 8:18. “Remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the power to gain wealth, to establish the covenant He swore to your forefathers.”
Needed advice for TODAY! Almost like a “trump card” that, if heeded, lessens the potential challenges of the future. Yet a question haunts me. In our national policy, have we not dishonored the very covenant God is seeking to establish with Israel, America and mankind?
Open Defiance—Dire Straits
Especially recently, American leaders have made open defiance of God almost an institutional mandate. Lawlessness rolls down from the highest corridors of power, seemingly without apology. Biblical values are not only marginalized, but countered with laws designed to punish those who embrace His ways.
The Constitution—securing the balance of power and the free exercise of religion—has been twisted and tossed like a used kleenex. Even the sovereignty of our nation has been bartered away in pursuit of “transnational governance.”
Maybe we didn’t pay much attention when this July 4 began the Jewish season of mourning known as Dire Straits. Just after three extraordinary decisions were announced that could forever denigrate the stature of our nation. American Pharaoh’s Triple Crown—openly defying God.
Then came the Iran nuclear accords. Seemingly betraying God’s covenant land in order to appease a nation that still vows to wipe Israel and America off the map. Completed in the final week of the Jewish Dire Straits, just days after Iran’s massive annual rally to rage against America and Israel. Renewing their vow to wipe us off the map.
Towards 9-11: Timing of Potential Challenges
My warning dream is recounted below. As most of you know, the timing indicated for potential challenges was around September 11. In the dream I saw young prayer warriors coming in from across the nation to launch their annual worship gathering.
Not a coincidence that Davids Tent begins this year on 9-11. Interestingly, when the Iran Accords were announced the day after this dream, a time clock started ticking for Congress. Sixty days to review the deal and make a vote. The 60th day is also right around 9-11.
All this to say, I believe we are in the beginning of the time period indicated. I should mention that the Shemitah, fall feasts, and the unprecedented blood moon all follow soon after.
“There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the ROARING OF THE SEA AND THE WAVES, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken” (Luke 21-25-6).
Dream—The Midnight Wave—July 13, 2015
In the dream, I saw Washington DC from a different vantage point. Our Nation’s Capitol was behind a gigantic cliff next to the ocean. The cliff was on the highest hill, and acted as an impenetrable barrier against the ocean’s highest waves. Most of the city was built either on the hill towards the cliff, or below the hill in a valley.
It was midnight—allegorically, when Paul Revere began his midnight ride. I had just left a group of young prayer warriors who had come from across the nation for their annual worship festival in DC called “David’s Tent.”
I loved the view of the ocean from the cliff, and decided to drive up the hill and take in the beauty of the waves crashing far below. So inspiring and soothing—except this time.
Usually the ocean waves were at base of the cliff, hundreds of feet below. But this time the ocean was actually close to cresting over the cliff—like a tsunami!
I immediately drove back to the crowded homes of the young prayer warriors I had visited. I felt I had to visit them personally for them to actually believe the warning and respond. Shouted to them FLOOD! Water cresting over the hill—a disaster even never seen before!
After leaving the group, I searched for my vehicle to get out of town before the flood hit. But in the dream I could not find my car! Ran around the entire section of the city, clicking my remote, even hitting the alarm button. But to no avail.
As I glanced towards the hill, a little water began to flow over the bank. There was no traffic in the city, as everybody was asleep! No one was trying to escape, because nobody was even aware.
Then I looked again and saw flood waters rushing down from the hill towards the street I was on. I saw an open garage with a thick brick wall, and stepped inside hoping to lessen the impact of the coming torrent. End of dream.
Call 911! Mitigating Disaster
Many prophetic intercessors, including Jason Hubbard, Kim Driver and others, have recently compelled us to “Call 911.” State of emergency—call on the Lord for deliverance! Through repentance and prayer, disasters can be mitigated and maybe even prevented. That’s the point of this prayer project.
You may recall Jolene’s warning dreams from 2006, shared recently in our postings. In the first dream, a wave came that took out hotels, mansions and condos on the beach. In another dream, she saw a series of large waves coming to shore during Labor Day. Nobody was paying attention to the huge wave just behind them. It was coming so fast we had now way of escape, so we stepped into a tent and waited to lose our lives.
Finally Jolene looked outside, wondering what happened. To her amazement, the wave had already crashed, with destruction all around. But under the shelter of the tent, we remained untouched by its torrents!
Friends, God wants to give you a shelter from the storm! Psalm 91:1, Amos 9:11. Finding that shelter begins with humbling yourself before the Lord, repenting, and re-aligning with His covenant. Jesus is your only true shelter. He died to forgive you. He rose again to legally justify you before His Throne. Providing you with both immediate and eternal protection, provision and life.
Authentic repentance mandates a course correction. From the power corridors of Washington DC to your front door, it’s time to make a change that will protect the blessing God has entrusted to us all. Our decisions in this hour will either mitigate coming waves or welcome them through our gates.
This year was opened the time capsule that was discovered in Boston after we entered the 5775 Hebrew year, following your important 7-22 meeting there. It was planted by Paul Revere, and Samuel Adams. The significant content was one thing – the silver coin known as the 1652 Pine Tree Shilling. The upraised arm tree on that coin (minted by the Colonists to keep trade going apart from the king’s attempt to harm trade or tax unrighteously) is the symbol that was used on the original Appeal to Heaven flag.
Read the Prophets on the relationship between hearts of God’s people and their mixed metals. I believe that as our hearts are refined, so our debased (and now almost-entirely-fiat) currency will be restored, as God gives us clearer eyes to see. This is not some total answer; I am just speaking to the relationship between our hearts as seen by heaven, and the righteous trade that can be established apart from the unstable system built up on robbing structures (cf. Judges 6:3-4, considering inflating away purchasing power is like consuming harvests; there is a difference between wealth kept in real money, and currency that is not redeemable).
