DEAR WATCHMEN OF THE TIMES,
CONVERGENCE IS THE WORD OF THE HOUR. As part of the Lamplighter family, you likely already know of one major convergence. This year the 25th anniversary of the 9-11-01 terrorist attacks converges with Rosh Hashanah and Yom Teruah. Which on a broader scale converges with the 250th anniversary of America’s independence. 

WHAT’S THE BIG DEAL? If you’re like me, it wasn’t a big deal until it was. I was clueless of this soon-coming “time gate.” With no prevailing sense about 9-11-26 until the Lord alerted me to both the potential and the peril surrounding the date. 

Likely most Christians are in the same predicament. Even some reading this post. Skepticism regarding the prophetic is a “thing” right now. 

If that’s you, let me point out one more convergence. The 25th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks converges with a rapidly intensifying war with Iran. Six months into it, the IRGC just launched fresh missile attacks against American bases and even a US Navy destroyer patrolling Hormuz. Threats are skyrocketing again. 

Further, the State Department just issued fresh warnings about travel in Israel. The covenant nation engaged alongside America from the beginning of the war, but disengaged at President Trump’s insistence. In turn, Iran’s aggression against Israel seems to have ceased. But has it truly? Or are there more attacks planned?

And for when? Is the threat of another 9-11 attack viable? Are Israel and America truly now in the crosshairs, as I’m sensing? Or is this just another false alarm?

HERE’S A HARD FACT. Though many critics don’t “buy in” on the significance of Hebraic timing, JIHADISTS DO. Which is why the 9-11 attacks were planned close to the fall feasts. And it’s why the October 7 attacks—known as Israel’s 9-11—were carried out during Simchat Torah, the final day of the Feast of Tabernacles. 

HERE’S ANOTHER HARD FACT. As intercessors, many of your greatest victories will likely be labeled “false alarms.” Because unless you’re “in the know,” when nothing seems to happen there’s no way to prove that your prayers actually prevented something from happening. 

But the efforts of your watch, as with your worship and your giving and every other demonstration of your faith, is not for show. It’s for Jesus. The glory belongs to Him. Right?

Which is why I believe that high-level intercession can often be compared to special ops warfare. Going in covertly behind enemy lines, blowing up strongholds, rescuing hostages, circumventing attacks. And getting out before anyone knows you’re there. With Jesus alone receiving the glory. 

So all this said, with all my heart, thank you for your prayers, my friend—for America, for Israel and for Iran. The countdown to convergence continues. LET MY PEOPLE GO is still a mandate. And Jesus is welcoming you to stand with Him once again to keep vigilant watch. 

“For Zion’s sake I will not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness shines like brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns… I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem, who will never hold their peace…” (Isaiah 62:1,6).
