JESUS REVOLUTION PROJECT JUNE 2-22. Friends, your lamps need fresh oil! And many arenas where initial breakthroughs have led to stalemates need to turn. From stalemate to checkmate! Lets remove the remaining blockages to breakthrough. Lets engage in fasting and prayer. Beginning on Turnaround Tuesday!
DEAR FRIENDS,
ALASKA IS AGAIN COMING INTO VIEW! We are honored to announce our return to Anchorage this July for our annual 7-22 conference. Apostles Robert and Eleanor Roehl will be hosting. And a west coast tour is encompassing the gathering!
More on this later in the week. But you might remember how Chuck Pierce prophesied Alaska as a gateway for the Ancient of Days. As I was praying about this year’s 7-22 gathering recently, I had an incredible vision of this. Daniel 7 shows how a river of fire issues from His throne. I saw the Ancient of Days enthroned over Alaska, with fire lines pulsating from His throne to all 50 states and other nations. And I knew the Lord was calling us to Alaska. It was astonishing how the doors opened after this. We are truly grateful!
I will share more later. But for now—let me share with you an incredible revelation we received in Alaska about the Jesus Revolution. From stalemate to checkmate! The story is excerpted from our book Turnaround Decrees..
Jesus Revolution—the Alaska Revelation
(Adapted from Turnaround Decrees)
Alaska as a breakthrough state has been highlighted to us in this season. In 2021 the Lord mandated Alaska to release a Daniel 7:22 decree that defines the turnaround movement of today, so similar to the Jesus revolution of the 1960s and ‘70s.
One afternoon we boarded a ferry from the town of Homer. A coastal town on the Kenai peninsula, Homer is known as “the end of the road.” There’s a very legitimate reason. Homer, Alaska is the westernmost destination of the entire US highway system. It actually is THE END of the road!
Maybe you’ve been there before? Not Homer per se. But maybe your own end of the road?
There sometimes comes a point when your strongest efforts and noblest intentions still can’t get the job done. Your options seem gone, and though you know what God wants you simply see no way to bring it to pass. Opening your heart to God during these situations will always secure His assistance… In process—this is a word from the Lord to you—the end of the road will become a gateway to your new beginnings.
And you’ll leave behind a trail of broken down barriers which once defined your limitations. Decree this now!
Fair warning here for those who aspire to become forerunners. You will always want to know what’s beyond the end of the road. Which is why, in Homer, we boarded a boat with the Alaskan wilderness as our destination.
Besides our team there were maybe 20 passengers at best when the ferry left the dock. Which made conversations easy to hear. Someone on the other side of the boat started talking about Jesus, and it caught my attention. To my utter surprise I found myself speaking with an older apostolic evangelist who had travelled 8 million miles around the world ministering the gospel.
And in the late 1960s, he unexpectedly became a father of the Jesus revolution. My spirit stood at attention, for all the right reasons.
Dale Van Steenis told us the story of how he witnessed the spark of the Jesus movement firsthand. He was coaching a pastor in Southern California who had given up all hope after a church split. While with them he attended a weekly prayer meeting at the church, which the pastor had facilitated for almost a decade. At one time the prayer meeting was packed. But now only a few die-hards showed up.
Die-hards mostly any way. Of course the discreet prayers of the pastor would have revealed he was actually seeking the Lord to move on. He had all but given up. But the other consistent participant was an 84 year old grandma who wept and travailed continually in groaning prayer, contending for the church, for lost sons and daughters, and anyone else who happened to come to mind.
Not long after Dale attended this prayer gathering, a hippie in a speedo, strung out on drugs and alcohol, came into a sparsely-attended Sunday night meeting. He became so disruptive the pastor almost threw him out. Amazingly, he let him stay. And long story short, the hippie in a speedo got radically saved and delivered.
Not long after, the young man—no longer in a speedo—asked the pastor if he would hold a special meeting on Monday evening, just for him and a few friends. Accommodations were reluctantly made for the extra service.
Turns out the hippie speedo guy was extremely influential in Hollywood. The pastor had no idea. That Monday approximately a thousand of the man’s closest friends attended the service! All ended up getting rocked for Jesus. And according to this apostolic evangelist taking a ferry from the end of the road into the Alaskan wilderness, who caught my ear by mentioning Jesus, that meeting became a spark for the entire Jesus Revolution!
I want to see that spark released today, don’t you? We are all contending. In many ways it may feel like you’re at the end of the road. But a new Jesus Revolution is just beyond! You and I are going to mark our children for the Lord, laying tracks in prayer for their turnaround.
And as this movement grows, an entire generation is going to meet the Lord at the threshold. It’s turnaround time.
“Even the captives of the mighty man will be taken away, and the prey of a tyrant will be rescued; for I will contend with the one who contends with you, and I will save your children” (Isaiah 49:25).
