Transfer of Power
“When Ronald Reagan came on the scene, everything changed. And friends, that’s exactly what the Lord is offering our nation today. A turnaround window of this very magnitude, catalyzed by a new move of the Spirit of God.”

This word, shared originally in November 2015, defined our God-breathed hopes for 2016. I believe they are already being proven true. The power base has shifted, and a new day has now been inaugurated. Donald J. Trump has just become the 45th President of the United States. President Trump’s confrontational message spoke profoundly about a new way forward.

“Today’s ceremony… has very special meaning,” he began. “Because today, we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another or from one party to another. But we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to YOU, THE PEOPLE.”

He continued. “For too long, a small group in our nation’s capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost.”

Jolene and I, as well as many others with us, tangibly felt the shift in the spirit as Trump was sworn in. In the spirit as well as the natural, the power base has shifted!

Trump also spoke directly into overcoming the challenges dividing our nation at this hour. “When you open your hearts to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice.”

During the benediction, Franklin Graham observed that a light rain began just as Trump came to the podium to be sworn in. “Rain is a sign of God’s blessing,” he commented.

It’s important to note that the sacred ceremony began with prayer in Jesus’ Name, and culminated with prayer in Jesus’ Name. It is truly a new day for Washington, District of Christ!

Bishop Wayne T. Jackson Gives the Benediction!
Graham’s comments were followed by a benediction by Bishop Wayne T. Jackson. Bishop Jackson is the leader who placed a Jewish tallit over Trump in his inner city church. He is the one of whom the Lord spoke, “Never forget that Donald Trump was mantled for the presidency by a black pastor from Detroit”

Most of you know I had the privilege of sharing with his congregation at the  culmination of the Glory Train tour November 5. I encouraged him then, “The man who imparts the mantle will have the final word.” Quite literally, the man who privately mantled Donald Trump for the Presidency was given the privilege of delivering the final word.

Covenant with Christ has Secured our Destiny
These tangible signs encourage us that Donald Trump was indeed selected by the Lord Jesus Christ for the Presidency. He has promised to be a President for all America, and I believe him. Further, it’s important to understand this election is much more than an inauguration of a new president. It’s an inauguration of a new day for the United States of America. Covenant with Jesus Christ has indeed secured our destiny.

Jolene and I want to thank each of you who have stood with the Lord and with us for a national turnaround. This train is bound for glory! We look forward to connecting with you tonight.
