As of today, we begin the Crown and Throne Prayer Project! Thank you for joining in our 21 day “Line in the Sand Prayer Project.” With Holy Spirit’s call to Jolene to pray through September 15, we feel the watch must continue.

And there’s no better day to commence this project than the anniversary of a moment in time where the word of a King set a new course for America’s history.

I Have a Dream
In the prophetic and prayer movements, declaring God’s heart and seeing His word established is a primary goal. But before Kenneth Hagin taught on faith, before Cindy Jacobs and Dutch Sheets taught on prophetic declaration, Martin Luther King absolutely modeled this principle. He declared God’s word—unabashedly moving from his prepared text to declare what the Holy Spirit was spontaneously speaking to him—and all America soon resounded and responded to this dream. From the text:

“I say to you today, my friends, that in spite of the difficulties and frustrations of the moment, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

“I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.”

“I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood…

“I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

“I have a dream today…

“I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together…”

King and Obama: A Call to Covenant
Today, this dream is marching forward. Unimaginable 50 years ago except in the hearts of a few dreamers, America has even elected our nation’s first black president! During his second inauguration, President Obama took his oath of office on two bibles—the sacred scrolls of Abraham Lincoln, and of Martin Luther King. Today, facing renewed racial tensions at home and civil war genocide in the Mideast, he will ascend the stairs of the Lincoln Memorial and commemorate the dream that changed our nation and world.

As we’ve shared many times before, prophetically President Obama now stands between Moses and Pharaoh. By God’s hand, Moses broke free from Pharaoh’s idolatry, prejudice and subjugation—and God’s covenant people entered into a new birth of freedom.

Lincoln and King both followed this path. It remains our deep hope and prayer that our president would draw upon their sacred legacies and renew covenant with Jesus Christ, apart from all idolatry. Only through covenant with Christ can the goal of freedom be achieved. Because idolatry inevitably leads to subjugation; only through the God of Abraham and Abraham Lincoln, Moses, King and THE KING, will we enter into the new birth of freedom God has ordained for us all.

New Birth of Freedom
It was Lincoln who prayerfully declared “That our Nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom; and that government of the people, by the people, and for the people shall not perish from the earth.”

And prophetically, 2013 is truly the year for this new birth of freedom—no matter what decisions our president, politicians or power brokers may make. For months we’ve been sharing the word God gave us at the beginning of the year, that “2013 will be a great year to be born, and a great year to be born again.” We stood together for a breakthrough on abortion, and the nation literally changed. Now we’re standing together for the second phase of this breakthrough The Lord has ordained for this year—the birthing of a movement that will ultimately sweep multitudes into the Kingdom.

Crown & Throne
Holy Spirit has shown us glimpses of this move of awakening, as well as glimpses of the prayer movement accompanying His great work. Crown and Throne. A movement prophesied by Jerusalem prayer leader Rick Ridings, where the thrones of Egypt topple and multitudes purchased by Christ’s covenant blood move from slavery into true freedom.

Since the beginning of the year, we have also been sharing our sense from The Lord that the birthing of this movement begins in late August, through the fall feasts and Hanukkah. Friends, I believe with all my heart that today—the 50th anniversary of the freedom dream prophesied by America’s Moses—Heaven’s release begins.

With this in mind, please pray for Jolene and me as we minister on the Crown and Throne movement tonight with Apostle John Benefiel and Church on the Rock in Oklahoma City. We are here with an overwhelming sense of purpose. John Benefiel and Cindy Jacobs led their respective prayer networks in the national divorcement of Baal, a project that appropriately culminated at the Lincoln Memorial on July 4, 2011. From the very steps where Martin Luther King changed a nation, we asked The Lord to forgive the slavery of our historic idolatry and marry the land again. And with this Declaration of Covenant we presented together to The Lord, we asked The Lord also for His new birth of freedom for our land.

Most of the Lamplighter family knows what soon transpired. Exactly fifty days later, an unprecedented regional earthquake shook Washington DC, cracking the Washington Monument, toppling gargoyles from the National Cathedral, and even damaging a well-known altar to Baal in DC that draws multitudes every year for high-level initiation ceremonies.

Through this, The Lord confirmed that He has granted us a divorce from Baal—whose name literally means “slave master” or taskmaster. As a nation, He has granted us a renewal of covenant with Jesus Christ—and the New Birth of Freedom that accompanies this covenant renewal.

In seeking this new birth of freedom, Abraham Lincoln literally sought for our nation to be born again. Divided by civil war, with an entire generation ravaged and scarred, this seemed impossible in the natural. Which is why Lincoln added “under God” to his treatise!

We are facing similar impossibilities today. But history records how God often confronts the greatest darkness with the travail of a new birth. Today I believe this travail begins.

Please Pray and Declare
Father God, we ask that you remind President Obama of Your covenant of freedom as he ascends the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, where King prophesied Your dream and where You granted us a national divorcement from Baal and renewal of covenant with Jesus Christ. Open your window for Barack Hussein Obama to fully enter into covenant with You, apart from all idolatry, just as Lincoln and King gave themselves to you. Where he stands between Moses and Pharaoh, we desire for him to fully choose you and become the deliverer You have invited him to be. Even this day, Lord! Help us to pray for him and his family.

Lord, enforce the divorcement of Baal that You have granted! Restrain the slave-master from our land. Grant us the fullness of the new birth of freedom You have promised. Move in power, Lord, even today!

Lord we come into agreement with Martin Luther King’s forerunning declaration from Isaiah 40 that “Every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together…” We prophesy this and declare this word is ACTIVATED NOW, on the 50th anniversary of its proclamation from the Lincoln Memorial. Reveal your glory! Let us see and experience your glory together! Holy Spirit, come in power and move in our land again!

Father today we come into agreement with Your freedom dream for our nation and the nations of the earth. We pray for this freedom to be fully birthed in Egypt, Syria and Your covenant land of Israel. Break forth in power as in the days of Moses! Topple thrones tied to idolatry. Bring down the Pharaohs of this age, and raise up your deliverers! IN JESUS’ NAME!
