On Sunday Jolene shared a profound dream. The Lord showed her coming storms and explosions. We really need to see how conducive to these challenges our world has now become. Thank you for continuing to pray for Israel!

One of the most important aspects of Jolene’s dream is that He wants us to become disciplined in prayer and growth. In the dream, Jolene decided to skip her ROTC class because she wasn’t fully dressed in her military fatigues. The class she skipped was meant to prepare her for realities she was soon to face.

Well, out of the mouth of two or three witnesses let every word be established! We noted in Jolene’s word that our prophetic friend Brian Francis Hume had just received a very similar word. A mandate from the Lord about the “Changing of the Garb!”

Brian will join us tonight to share and prophesy. His word below is chock full of life-changing revelation.

Changing of the Garb—Brian Francis Hume
I’m at a prayer meeting. Cindy Jacobs approaches me as she places her right hand on my head. She prays, quietly but firmly. Then she prophesies in hush tones, “You will bear the holiness of God in such a way that it’ll make even me shudder!”

Actually, I’ve never met Cindy Jacobs, who with her husband Mike founded Generals International. This meeting with the renown prophet was just a dream from the beginning of 2015.

Well, I guess I shouldn’t say it was just a dream. That prophetic word has framed much of what I have experienced this year in the Lord. It is reflective of what the Lord wants to see in the body of Christ collectively—and especially within the emerging prophetic voices.

In this coming hour we need those who will bear the holiness of God at all cost. It is a call “to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness” (Ephesians 4:24). Much of my word today is focused on this.

May 5—God Begins to Speak
Now fast forward to May 5, 2015. As I entered the Northern Virginia House of Prayer (NOVA-HOP), my right hand rested upon Josh Bae’s shoulder as he guided me to an available seat. The room was dark except for the front where Director Yooshik Seo led the prayer set. Because I’m visually challenged, I’m reliant on others especially in dark settings. I was totally focused on ensuring that I didn’t bump into anything or step on someone’s foot. I suppose stepping on someone’s foot could make a great conversation starter. But not during a prayer meeting!

I was consciously engaged on each step I took. However I was not expecting what came next. The Spirit of the Lord whispered a phrase into my spirit that I’d never heard before: Changing of the Garb.

Instantly I felt the weight of what the Spirit of the Lord spoke to my heart. Revelation flooded my heart as I knew the Lord was opening up Heaven’s wardrobe for NOVA-HOP to be fitted with new garbs to reflect the coming transition. Our garments, clothing, garbs, must match the season that the Lord has us in.

Top Guard—“It’s Time for the Changing of the Garb!
Now fast forward to September 20. I stumbled into bed after spending precious time with the Lord in preparation to celebrate my 23rd year with Him. The moment my head hit the pillow, I was taken to a different place.

I found myself hovering over four people standing outdoor in an urban setting. It certainly had the look and feel of the Washington, DC region though I recognized no landmarks. My focus was upon two individuals in particular. I saw clearly a young, well-built man dressed in his ceremonial military uniform. His sister stood next to him, dressed in professional attire.

As I’m looking down at them from above, I knew intuitively that this man was one of the soldiers who were carefully selected to guard the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. I overheard him tell his sister, “It is time for the changing of the garb!” She looked stunned at his comment with slight intrigue and uncertainty.

Instantly I came out of this fully alert—and in awe. My heart pulsated with the nearness of heaven as my mind tried to grasp the magnitude of what I’d just seen and heard. Immediately I thought of the passage in Zechariah 3:3-5.

Now Joshua was standing before the angel, clothed with filthy garments. And the angel said to those who were standing before him, ‘Remove the filthy garments from him.’ And to him he said, ‘Behold, I have taken your iniquity away from you, and I will clothe you with pure vestments.’

And I said, ‘Let them put a clean turban on his head.’ So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the Lord was standing by.”

A few days later the Lord spoke to my heart while in prayer. I knew intuitively that the Lord was pioneering the Changing of the Garb word at NOVA-HOP in preparation for this message to go national.

The core of the message—the Lord is going to remove the stained garbs of the past season in exchange for His garbs of righteousness and holiness for the coming season. God desires to unleash His pervading sense of holiness in our midst, but we must adorn the heavenly garbs to experience such a reality.

There’s more to come—this is just a foretaste, an appetizer to whet your appetite for this coming move of God…

Word to the Watchmen
Jon here. Brian’s message is profound. Just want to mention two additional perceptions.

The Hebrew word for “guard” is “shamar” or watchman. This word about the garment change is for His watchmen today. The times are changing rapidly, and as Brian mentioned our garments must be charged according to the Lord’s present work.

It’s amazing how Jolene’s dream parallels Brian’s experience. Here’s a final thought. In Jolene’s dream, she disqualified herself from attending ROTC classes because her uniform didn’t fully match. It turns out she was wearing a tee shirt from the new uniform, but the rest of her fatigues were from the previous style of uniform.

My guess is that many of you are in a similar transition between the old and the new. Let God’s new mantle form around you! But keep diligence with what He’s already called you to do. Trust the Lord to fully clothe you and finish the great work He has begun.
