DEAR FRIENDS,
A CARGO SHIP SLAMMED into the Francis Scott Bridge in Baltimore early this morning, collapsing most of the 1.5 mile structure. The ship was coming in very fast at 8 knots, and was likely out of control. Six people remain missing.
The collapse of the “freedom bridge” comes just two days after Purim, and a day after the Biden Administration refused to thwart a UN Security Council resolution against Israel.
TODAY’S TURNAROUND TUESDAY BROADCAST will focus on this incident, and a possible “trumpet warning” to America within it.
Key Bridge Down, Harbor Shut Down
The Key Bridge formed an “outer gate” between Baltimore harbor and the Chesapeake Bay. The harbor is completely shut down, with no ships able to come in or out of the primary shipping harbor for metro Washington DC. The good news is that a “Mayday call” from the ship gave enough time for officials to stop most traffic. Please continue to pray.
Mechanical Failure? Terrorist Attack?
Though official channels are saying the bridge collision is not a terrorist attack, key questions linger. The captain signaled Mayday. Why was the container ship out of control, seemingly in both speed and direction? Was the ship’s power compromised, or was the captain trying to shut the power down to slow the ship down and steer it away from the bridge? Was there a mechanical failure? Or is it possible the ship was being controlled remotely, perhaps even with AI technology?
Collapse: Bridge of America’s Freedom Anthem
THE KEY BRIDGE is named for Francis Scott Key, who wrote the America’s national anthem the Star Spangled Banner from Baltimore harbor. Key was actually a prisoner on a British ship bombarding Fort McHenry during the War of 1812. He kept watch through the midnight hours to see if the giant flag over the fort remained. Dawn’s early light bore witness that “the flag was still there,” signaling the British defeat.
That said, the Francis Scott Key Bridge can rightly be called “the bridge of America’s freedom anthem.” It overlooks the turnaround harbor where a key battle for America’s sovereignty was won.
And the midnight collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge conveys a clear prophetic warning to Washington DC and America.
Biden Veto Refusal Imperils Israel
Yesterday, for the first time since the Obama Administration, the United States declined to block a United Nations Security Council resolution targeting Israel. The resolution called for an immediate cease-fire against Hamas in Gaza whether or not captive hostages held by Hamas were freed.
Hamas responded immediately to the action by the Biden Administration by withdrawing its tentative offer from intensive hostage negotiations now in play in Qatar and Washington DC.
President Biden has continued to warn Israel’s government not to invade Rafah, the final major stronghold held by Hamas. Netanyahu’s repudiation of the order has been met with a war of words between the two leaders. Biden has even threatened to withhold shipping key weapons desperately needed by Israel as the nation now faces war from both Gaza with Hamas and Hezbollah in its northern border.
For perspective, Tel Aviv is only about 50 miles from Gaza. Washington DC is 50 miles from Baltimore. Consider for a moment America’s response if a terrorist army backed by Iran took over Baltimore?
What if they struck the metro DC area from Baltimore with missiles? Took over Johns Hopkins Hospital to build its terrorist headquarters?
And then invaded towns near metro DC, brutally slaughtering thousands before retreating into an underground fortress of tunnels, bringing hundreds of hostages with them?
All 50 miles from Washington DC? Friends, that’s the proximity we’re talking about. Interestingly, headquarters of the NSA, America’s “eye” of global surveillance, is about equidistant between DC and Baltimore. Which means the collapse of America’s freedom bridge occurred right before America’s very eyes. This is itself a key warning.
Prophecy
Here’s a spontaneous prophetic word which came to me while praying. I’ll close with it for now. Please tune in to Turnaround Tuesday.
The Lord of hosts declares, O say CAN YOU SEE by the dawn’s early light? Your shipping lanes are now closed. The GATEWAY BRIDGE of your freedom anthem has now collapsed. And as the sirens of your first responders blared, Heaven’s shofar is now sounding a key warning over you, America.
Let My watchmen now arise as the nations unite in rage against My covenant land. I say to you, DO NOT DESTROY the freedom bridge I have created between Israel and America. Or I will lift the rear guard which I have granted, which has been credited to your account. The nations who fear you will see your vulnerability, just as in a time of great division they perceived Israel’s vulnerability and dealt a deadly blow.
America, are you yet still the land of the free and the home of the brave? Soon your bravery will be tested as terrorist nations now align against you as they have aligned against my covenant land. I say to you, watch, learn, and prevent this while there is yet still time! Praise again the Power that has made you, and redeemed you as a nation. Seek My preservation in this hour of peril.
Jon and Jolene, I call you again to the Watch of the Breaker for Washington and Jerusalem, for Israel and America. Respond again to the sound of My trumpet, which is sounding over Your land in mercy right now, not judgement. I say to you, repair the breaches! Keep watch through the night of peril. And turn this peril over Purim to again become a Heaven-rescued land. I your Lord have spoken.
