FIRST—Thanks to all who are praying over the “birthing process” of our new book The Turnaround Decree. Please keep pressing in for breakthrough! Lord release Your scrolls. Help us perceive them, record them, release them, and manifest your heart and will through them!
SECOND—Looking forward to tonight’s call. Lets prepare our lamps now for the season ahead! And remember how the Lord framed out our current season for us, so that we would not be caught off guard.
A midnight crisis. A midnight cry to the Lord for help. A midnight turnaround. A midnight awakening, with the Bride of Christ relighting her dormant lampstands and rising to meet the Lord in a new way.
Back in 2017, this is how the Lord framed the new season we were entering into as of 2020. Matthew 25 was highlighted. Peering out over Washington DC, I clearly heard the Lord say, “By the year 2020 there will be a series of midnight crises. How the body of Christ confronts these crises and overcomes them will even become a roadmap for believers in the very end of days.
Then came covid. Riots that ignited cities and communities across the nation. A questionable election with implications far beyond what this post can offer. The ceding of Afghanistan back to the very terror network which hosted the 911 terrorists.
I would say the word has proven pretty accurate so far. The good news is that you and I are appointed to OVERCOME.
And it’s time for your lamps to burn brightly, in a manner that illuminates your entire house or sphere.
Late this summer while on the Glory Train, Holy Spirit spoke to us about our personal focus for 2022. “The Year of the Lampstand” were His direct words. Prophetically, this means we are entering a season where God’s true illumination will break through the vexations of the false illumination now paralyzing much of the body of Christ and nation.
I was also acutely aware that from region to region the Lord will be evaluating the conditions of our lampstands. Remember they represent covenant. They represent first-love devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ. They represent divine presence.
And they represent divine exposure.
Remember Jesus’ admonition. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.” (Matthew 5:14-15).
Maybe you’re burning bright already, or maybe you’re barely showing a holy flame. You might have found that circumstances have drained you of oil. Whatever the case is, the Lord wants to impart to you His fire. He wants you to tend your lamps. He wants you to shine!
This will be a continual theme for the Lamplighter family during the year 5782 | 2022 and for our annual Revolution gathering. That said, please save the dates for Revolution 2021 this December 9-12. We’ll share much more within the next few weeks.
