Trump, Hanukkah, Christmas
FIRST—Thanks to all who prayed, worshiped, celebrated, and invested in God’s dream for America and the nations during Revolution 2017 at the Museum of the Bible in Washington DC. It was truly revolutionary. And we are in a new place with the Lord!
This December 20 marks the last night of Hanukkah. It also marks Jolene and my 14th anniversary according to the “Gregorian calendar.” And on this date, President Trump and Congress just gave America a tremendous Christmas gift! The long-anticipated tax overhaul was just signed, easing the tax burden for the middle class while refining the process to benefit all. The stock market is already responding in kind. Covenant wealth is being generated.
And America is getting back on track!
Here’s even more evidence. Yesterday Judge Alex Kozinski, one of the most powerful liberally-biased judges in America, part of the infamous 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, was forced to step down after multiple allegations surfaced of sexual harrassment. Beloved, lets keep praying for the Lord to bring redemptive exposure!
And lets remember what a difference a year makes. This time last year the Lamplighter family was deeply engaged in intercession for Israel and the United Nations as former President Obama pushed through the bill de-legitimizing Israel and declaring the Western Wall “Palestinian land illegally occupied by Israel.” Christmas and Hanukkah were both just beginning.
This year around Hanukkah, Donald Trump officially honored Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. And a UN resolution to overthrow Trump’s recognition was… well… TRUMPED.
This dramatic confrontation of anti-semitism at the United Nations even earned UN ambassador Nikki Haley and the Trump Administration recognition by Prime Minister Netanyahu as “Maccabees!” Especially given our Revolution conference, all I can say is, you can’t make this stuff up. Seriously. God bless President Donald Trump, Nikki Haley and team. You have taken the best from the legacies of patriots and revolutionaries and forged a new path of freedom for our time. Startling!
And speaking of startling…. THANKS TO ALL WHO MADE REVOLUTION 2017 SO POWERFUL THIS YEAR! A demarcation in time and history was made at the Museum of the Bible, America’s Ark of the Covenant. Personally, state by state, and as a nation, our covenant with God has been restored. America is married to Jesus Christ!

However, a miracle occurred and with God’s grace the oil lasted for eight days. On this holiday, we are proud to stand with the Jewish people who shine as a light to all nations. We also stand with the people of Israel, the Jewish State, which has itself a miraculous history of overcoming the tallest of odds. We hope that those observing the holiday here, in Israel, and around the world have a wonderful holiday.”
And here’s what President Trump has declared about Christmas. I want to preface this with a reminder of the first prophetic dream the Lord gave me regarding President Trump. I recounted this in our new book “The Midnight Cry.” On January 5, 2016, I saw Donald Trump receiving the contract to restore the Department of Homeland Security. As he walked the halls, my only words to him were, “Sir, you must restore Christmas!”
What a difference a year makes.
