DEAR LAMPLIGHTER FAMILY,
NATIONAL ELECTIONS. A WAR WITH AT LEAST THREE FRONTS. A GLOBAL ESCALATION.
As we said yesterday—glad you’re praying! A new era is at our gates. yesterday we covered key prophetic experiences with an overarching message of how Jesus is moving. And both messages may contain a divine undercurrent related to the 2026 elections.
Could we witness a last-minute turnaround? An October surprise?
Well in Israel’s case we already have. Nobody expected PM Netanyahu and the Likud party to come out ahead. Just as with many times in the past, he does not have the numbers to form a majority government. Something has to give. But the results genuinely qualify as an October surprise.
If you haven’t checked out yesterday’s video I promise it’s worth your time. Jolene and I both shared our respective prophetic visions as well as what we feel the Lord is saying immediately, for the elections, and also on an overarching level.
Vision—Jesus Dismounts a Donkey
Between the two, Jolene’s vision is most intriguing in conveying how to best align with our votes. During worship on Sunday, Jolene saw a vision of Jesus riding into town on a donkey, with a great procession surrounding Him. He dismounted the donkey, mounted His white horse, and began to ride. Many in the procession surrounding Him became an army that accompanied Him (see Revelation 19:11).
Jesus is making it very clear the times have changed. The donkey which transported Jesus to Jerusalem’s cross was exchanged for the white horse that transports Him from Heaven to earth in His great return. Extraordinary.
To me Jolene’s vision is epoch-defining in a way that is similar to her “ten minutes to midnight” experience at Tel Megiddo. So I do not want to in any way diminish the fearsome grandeur of the most important message.
But there is another message that I believe we all need to consider in our pursuits, including our voting.
The donkey no longer holds the King.
Which Party Most Reflects Biblical Values?
Most of you know the donkey is a symbol of the Democratic Party. So let me quickly add here that Jesus was not pictured riding an elephant either. The truth is that neither party fully embraces the standards of genuineness and purity needed to genuinely enthrone Jesus.
But that said, these days it almost seems the donkey has deliberately thrown Jesus off its back. Democratic socialism joined with the antisemitic sentiments of militant islam is the trend of the hour. No room for a Jewish messiah known as the Lion of Judah.
Extraordinary.
Meanwhile at both a grassroots level and a governmental level the Republican Party continues to be shaped by those who are ardently following the white horse—and the King riding on it. Remember it was the highest leaders of the Trump administration who led Rededicate 250 this May 17. With House Speaker Mike Johnson chosen to bring us into a national rededication of covenant with the Lord.
Are there faults? Mis-steps? Absolutely. But at the same time extreme woke ideology is no longer the law of the land. From America’s military and diplomacy centers and educational systems right down to your kids’ elementary schools, the poison has been extracted. Which means your kids are far more protected from gross violations of values meant to protect them than previous generations.
And though the economy is not as bright as originally hoped for, its foundations have been strengthened to the point that the longterm fiscal viability upon which the American dream depends is now once again in view. Most importantly leaders of the administration understand the business world. They understand the vital importance of continued innovation. And they know how to position America to prosper in win-win situations that strengthen others. In many cases, such as with Venezuela, their foresight proved pivotal for economic stability both for us and for them.
And lets take a look at border security. As Karoline Leavitt pointed out in an interview this morning, the Trump administration has worked tirelessly to re-secure our borders after decades where they were wide open for terrorists, cartel gangs, traffickers and other criminals to cross.
We are safer. Our children are safer. In a turbulent global economy we are still the safest bet.
Confronting Antisemitism
Finally lets take a look at how each party is confronting the global rising tide of Jew-hatred. There is no doubt both parties have compromised leaders and both also have bright lights. But looking at emerging trends, the democratic socialists are definitely becoming a predominant force. And many are expressing sentiments similar to those driving riots by the far-left in Europe. Which is why, similar to kristallnacht just before WWII, Jewish businesses, schools and synagogues are being systematically targeted and torched.
Dismount, Mount Up, and Follow the King
As Jolene’s vision makes clear, Jesus has dismounted the donkey. It has no longer been granted the privilege of carrying the King. And if we are going to follow Him, it’s really time to follow His example.
In all aspects of your life, there are expressions of compromised movements you need to literally dismount in order to follow Jesus. Dismount and mount up—now is the time. You already know what’s ahead is full of divine turnarounds, and full of surprises. Lets simply follow the King!
