DEAR SHAVUOT WATCHMEN,
TODAY YOU GAIN A DOUBLE PORTION! In God’s economy this is because He wants to bless you. In my economy this is because when I sat down to write a paragraph on the costly offering, in a short ten minutes an hour went by! Revelation flowed. And I knew the Lord was giving us the clearest understanding of how He longs to position us now and for the future. A generational altar securing a generational blessing! This is majorly what God is inviting you and I to attain towards Pentecost.

What I had intended to focus on is this. Yesterday on Memorial Day, in the midst of the national and global pandemic, President Trump laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. He then visited Fort McHenry.

Baltimore’s historic fortress inspired our national anthem while troops endured the vicious bombardment by the British during the War of 1812. To the astonishment of both the Americans and the British, by dawn’s early light the flag was still flying.

There was such purpose to President Trump’s visit. Maybe more than even he understood. Let me bottom line it for you first. Then lets explore. Ok?

Great Britain had been defeated in the American Revolution, securing America’s freedom. Some 29 years later, the British regrouped in a vicious attempt to take back what they lost. Washington DC was attacked. The White House and Capitol were both burned. America found itself facing the brutality of the same enemy FOR THE SECOND TIME.

Strategically, Baltimore was a barrier between the British and an all-out invasion of Washington DC. Fort McHenry was all that stood in the way of a defeat of America from its Capitol.

What’s the message? Sometimes defeated enemies rise again in an attempt to conquer. To some measure, we will face this challenge with covid 19. We really need to pray into this.

Further, our nation is now facing this same challenge from other defeated foes seeking to thwart God’s intentions for our nation. Their intention is ultimately the same. Our freedoms are being targeted, our inheritance is being targeted.

And in a very real way, President Trump’s insistence on setting foot on this sacred ground on Memorial Day is a both a remembrance and rehearsal of victory in the skirmishes which will again preserve our freedom. Something happened in the spirit realm to dethrone the opposition of today. Despite challenges we are moving firmly into a season prophesied long before. And our banner remains. Dawn’s early light is already beginning to shine.

Trump’s Speech
More on this in a moment. First lets hear from President Trump himself, in a speech I believe will prove historic:

In recent months, our nation and the world have been engaged in a new form of battle against an invisible enemy. Once more, the men and women of the United States military have answered the call to duty and raced into danger. Tens of thousands of service members and National Guardsmen are on the front lines of our war against this terrible virus, caring for patients, delivering critical supplies, and working night and day to safeguard our citizens.

As one nation, we mourn alongside every single family that has lost loved ones, including the families of our great veterans. Together we will vanquish the virus, and America will rise from this crisis to new and even greater heights.

As our brave warriors have shown us from the nation’s earliest days, in America, we are the captains of our own fate. No obstacle, no challenge, and no threat is a match for the sheer determination of the American people. This towering spirit permeates every inch of the hollowed soil beneath our feet…

American Forces did not waiver. They did not retreat. They stared down the invasion and they held that they had to endure, the fact is they held like nobody could have held before. They held this fort. The British retreated. Independence was saved. Francis Scott Key was so inspired by the sight of our flag in the battle waged that the very grounds that he fought on became hallowed. And he wrote a poem. His ageless words became the anthem of our nation, The Star Spangled Banner…

Wherever the stars and stripes fly at our schools, our churches, town halls, firehouses, and national monuments, it is made possible because there are extraordinary Americans who are willing to brave death so that we can live in freedom and live in peace.

From generation to generation, heroes like these have poured out their blood and sweat and heart and tears for our country. Because of them, America is strong and safe and mighty and free. Because of them, two centuries on The Star Spangled Banner still proudly waves. For as long as our flag flies in the sky above, the names of these fallen warriors will be woven into its threads. For as long as we have citizens willing to follow their example, to carry on their burden, to continue their legacy, then America’s cause will never fail and American freedom will never ever die.

Today we honor the heroes we have lost. We pray for the loved ones they left behind, and with God is our witness, we solemnly vowed to protect, preserve, and cherish this land they gave their last breath to defend and to defend so proudly. Thank you. God bless our military. God bless the memory of the fallen. God bless our gold star families, and God bless America. Thank you very much.

Prophetic Word—Heaven Rescued Land!
The Hebrew prophets believed that remembering legacy opens a door to enter into the miracle that is being celebrated. It is no coincidence that President Trump reconnected us with this covenantal heritage on Memorial Day, again in the face of a global pandemic and other looming challenges.

That said, here’s a prophetic word for you for this Shavuot which was written back in Summer 2013. Jolene and I actually closed out our first book “Crown and Throne” with this prophecy. So much of what was written within its pages has already come to pass. But in a very poignant way, the Lord saved the best and most needful for the last!

Sunrise from on High—overcoming death. Long before Francis Scott Key penned these words, the imagery of “Dawn’s Early Light” was used to describe how Jesus would bring a surge of life to Israel. Luke records a forerunner prophecy from Zechariah the High Priest, the father of John the Baptist. “And his father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied, saying ‘Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited us and accomplished redemption for His people… to show mercy toward our fathers, and to remember His holy covenant… And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare His ways… Because of the tender mercies of our God, with which the SUNRISE FROM ON HIGH will visit us, to shine upon those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death…’” (Luke 1:68, 72, 76-9).

Sunrise. Dawn’s early light. A shining with such force it tangibly breaks us free from the shadow of death!

Burning Lamps of Forerunners. This describes our battle, and our victory. Many of you are being called forth like John the Baptist as forerunners of the new day. Just as John was described by Jesus as a “burning and shining lamp,” so many of you as today’s emerging revolutionaries carry a dimension of this sacred fire within your very being. In this season, His light truly begins to shine in you!…

That said, I don’t believe God has yet determined to hand over His seat of authority to the Illuminati, globalists, or whoever else tries to usurp His dream for America and Israel. Instead, this torch of covenantal legacy is being passed, with all solemnity, to you. You are being given the sacred charge of determining the course of our future. In the midst of chastenings and relentless battles, may Hosea’s girl again become a beacon of liberty to the world, illumined by Dawn’s Early Light.

Heaven Rescued Land. Let the final stanza of the Star Spangled Banner now prophesy to you.

Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war’s desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav’n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.

Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: “In God is our trust.
And the star spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.”

No King but Jesus…
