FIRST—NO KING BUT JESUS! So glad to share that we finally have a NEW HOUSE SPEAKER! Louisiana representative Mike Johnson has earned the majority vote. He is a fervent believer in Jesus, and dedicated to pursuing America’s best in every way. This is excellent news. Jon and Jolene congratulate the new Speaker of the House, and look forward to covering Rep. Johnson in prayer. Thank you Lamplighter family for your fervent intercession through this process!
SECOND—we are excited to give you an update on Revolution 2023. Jolene and I can’t wait to see and visit with so many of you. Every Revolution is first a FAMILY REUNION!
It’s interesting that December 7 marks the convergence of the first night of Hanukkah with the 72nd anniversary of the Pearl Harbor bombing. This landmark event marked our entry into WWII. Considering that Hamas chose the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur war to attack Israel, it’s a little sobering to consider. The trumpet is sounding! What a vital hour to seek the Lord together in Washington DC to REDEEM AMERICA!
Speaking of which, we plan to journey into Washington DC Friday morning December 8 for worship at Davids Tent and a special tour through the US Capitol. Many of you will want to pray by the White House and/or Pentagon as well. We will then converge again for the Friday evening service.
