DEAR FRIENDS,
YOUR COVENANT WITH JESUS IS A COVENANT OF DELIVERANCE. Every aspect of Jesus’ covenantal investment in us, through His agony on the cross, can and must be applied to move us from bondage to the enemy into His promised land. And thousands of years after the word of the Lord was first delivered through Moses, these words remain alive and active I the spirit realm—to be applied on your behalf. LET MY PEOPLE GO!
I love how II Kings 17:38-9 clarifies this for us. “The covenant I have made with you, you shall not forget, nor shall you fear other gods; but the Lord your God you shall fear, and He shall deliver you from the hand of EVERY ADVERSARY.”
We’ve already explored a parallel promise to this related to our kids. In fact, I bet that every parent engaged in Turnaround Tuesday has already committed it to memory. But it’s important to re-examine the passage in context with covenant.
Because it’s only in covenant that the true power of God is manifested.
“Even the captives of the mighty man will be taken away,
And the prey of a tyrant will be rescued; for I will contend with the one who contends with you, and I will save your children” (Isaiah 49:25.
Deliverance from EVERY ADVERSARY is possible through Jesus! Not just for you, but also for your sons and daughters. The first key to gain this place of breakthrough is aligning with His covenant. So ask yourself a few questions.
- Where am I seeing breakthrough from captivity?
- Where does it seem His hand is not moving?
- What is God calling me to do to further align with His covenant to see His turnaround manifested? What needs to drop off from my life? What do I need to pick up, practice and follow through with?
Answering these questions will help you gain perspective in your walk with the Lord—and in the securing of His promised destiny for your children.
LET MY CHILDREN GO! Speaking of which, when Moses spoke the word of the Lord to Pharaoh, did you ever notice that Pharaoh initially told Moses the adults could go, but the children must be left behind?!!! Mario Bramnick mentioned this passage, and it so bears witness today.
Moses, speaking with Pharaoh, said:
“We shall go with our young and our old; with our sons and our daughters, with our flocks and our herds we shall go, for we must hold a feast to the Lord….”
“Then he (Pharaoh) said to them, “…Go now, but ONLY THE MEN AMONG YOU among you, and serve the Lord, since that is what you desire.” So they were driven out from Pharaoh’s presence.” (Exodus 10:9-11).
Isn’t that what the Pharaohs of today are doing? “You Christians can go and ‘live for your God,’ but by government mandate you must leave your children behind. They will be taught the values of Egypt, of Babylon, instead of your Jesus and His Bible. And we will make sure they live accordingly.”
Where’s your resolve? In order to see change, you must become a catalyst to turn the tide. You must refuse to tolerate the interjection of deliberate anti-biblical values that are ultimately meant to harm you and those you love. A massive “parental revolution” is at hand. And truly, it all begins in prayer.
LET MY CHILDREN GO. This rallying cry brought to birth the global Turnaround Tuesday movement. And as of Passover 2022, things are about to accelerate rapidly.
