Greetings from Maui, Hawaii. Hard to believe we are here! And it’s hard to believe March 4 is already upon us. The national launch of this Glory Train movement! Note that we’re beginning Friday with a special prayer call, and we hope to have some surprise guests joining us.
In a moment I want to share with you about the extraordinary time launching the Glory Train locally in Honolulu. First, some have wondered why we personally didn’t focus more on the Super Tuesday elections. Honestly I didn’t have a word. But remember that we together gave our all during the “Light the Gates” watch, culminating the week before with prayer through the three branches of government in Washington DC. No King but Jesus!
Hawaii—Glory Through the Gate!
You know we do most of what we do completely by faith. Which means that when we step out, we only understand in part, at best. Today I want to share with you a word the Lord gave us while in Hawaii that brought a lot of clarity to questions I had been pondering about our launch from Hawaii on March 4.
Jolene and I were so honored to minister in a special service at Kawaiaha’o Church in Honolulu last Saturday with Kealoha Benavente. Kealoha is a native believer, as is most of her team. We together launched the Glory Train locally from a historic church known as the “mother church of Hawaii.”
Get this. You all know by now how my pilgrim forefathers cut covenant with the Lord in Massachusetts, dedicating land that would become the United States to “the glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith.” Following this, the first missionaries ever launched from Massachusetts actually came to Hawaii, and founded the very church which became Kawaiaha’o.
Talk about a full circle moment! We soon discovered Oahu’s royal family worshiped there. When the gospel was first preached in Hawaii, a sweeping move of Holy Spirit awakened the entire island, including the indigenous royal family!
Our service there turned out to be one of the most substantive and powerful in recent history. Our host Kealoha and her team started the service with a beautiful procession to welcome the Lord, and welcome us. You’ll meet her on tonight’s call. And when Kealoha began to share about the Native meaning of the word “Hawaii,” my hair stood on end. Because the Lord had already downloaded a prophetic message on this very theme.
I won’t do it justice. But the “Ha” in Hawaii means “breath!” The middle part of the name references the water. And the last part of the name Hawaii means “Supreme Being.” So “Hawaii” literally conveys the meaning “Breath of God over the waters!” Very similar to Genesis 1, in which the Spirit of God is pictured brooding over the waters and giving birth to all creation.
East Gate, West Gate—the Lord Marches Forth
Needless to say, I didn’t know any of this. While praying Saturday afternoon, I felt the Lord was saying that Hawaii was both the west gate of America and the east gate of Jerusalem and Israel. I felt the Lord saying that as Hawaii comes alive in revival, it will be a sign to Israel that her revival is at hand. He is coming in a glory procession by way of this gate facing east!
Further, the Lord gave a very clear word from Isaiah 42. I’ve always loved this passage from the time the Spirit first drew me to it. Because years ago within its promises, I actually discovered my own birthday. “The Lord will march forth like a warrior! He will arouse His zeal like a man of war. He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies” (Isaiah 42:13).
Now that’s a glory procession. The chapter is all about how God is arising as a warrior to bring forth justice. Please review the entire chapter. Each sentence conveys a key for the Glory Train movement.
Two things jumped out at me that I didn’t really see before in context. First, God moves in this glory procession in direct response to the islands worshiping Him! In fact, again and again in the passage He mentions islands, mountains and coastlands. “Sing to the Lord a new song, Sing His praise from the end of the earth! You who go down to the sea, and all that is in it. You islands, and those who dwell on them.”
The Hawaiian Islands—the breath of God upon the waters—are the literal end of the earth from Israel. Same latitude as Jerusalem, but exactly opposite Israel on the globe. For this reason, Hawaii is exactly 12 hours difference from Israel!
Breath of God Released
Second, a warrior, the Lord declares that “like a woman in labor I will groan, I will gasp and pant and lay waste the mountains…” (Is 42:14-15). God releases His breath! Travail as a military strategy for governmental breakthrough. Ha-wa-ii! The breath of God upon the waters. You cannot make this stuff up.
Here’s something wild. Read Ezekiel 8, and you’ll discover the glory of God is pictured as a manifestation of His breath. A storm cloud, a tornado! Same with the winds of awakening in Ezekiel 37 which brought the dead literally to life. And when the disciples encountered the full expression of God’s glory, these Pentecostal winds blew in “like a mighty rushing wind.”
And I prophesy to you that the tornado force of God’s glory is now “vaved” or pegged to Hawaii. He is brooding again, and birthing new life! And the restoration of glory in Hawaii will even be a sign of the coming Glory Train where the Lord brings revival to Jerusalem by way of the gate facing east. He’s going to fill His house, east and west, with glory!
What a way to start the Glory Train! At the door of entry, a western gate to America and what the Lord Himself described as an eastern gate to Zion. It probably should be mentioned that we experienced a very powerful visitation from Holy Spirit in the midst of the meeting. We thought we had to coax the Lord to come, but He was already at the gates! And many have since reported real and tangible breakthroughs in their lives.
From the womb of this mother church of Hawaii, the breath of God upon the waters, all I can say is we are seeing our dreams finally come true.

Aloha train riders !! I have been busy and forgot to write about our prayer in Washington DC. The Lincoln Memorial has such a presence of The Lord there. As we walked over to it, I was seeking what to pray. As we arrived at the end of the reflection pool, there was a stench. We realized then there was no water in it. All the filth and dirt had pooled at that end. The Lord showed me this was the smell of politics and man’s way of governing. He was going to clean up the mess !! Then when the “new” water would be put back in, it would signify a release of His Spirit and annointing flowing in from East to west.It will also be a time of reconciliation between His body,that one new man will begin. Black, white Native American, Hispanic Asian, in His remnant will begin this transition. There will be more later to write. ALL ABOARD !!! Next stop ??….
