FROM WASHINGTON TO WASHINGTON, LETS UNITE IN PRAYER FOR OKLAHOMA TONIGHT.

PRAYER CALL 9-10 pm EST. DR. JOHN BENEFIEL JOINS US! A prominent pastor in Oklahoma City, Dr. Benefiel is also the lead apostle of the Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network. Conference call number: 805-399-1200 access code 552-690. Use *6 to mute/unmute. Invite your friends to join us!

As the tears and prayers of a nation surround Oklahoma, a new day has brought a glimmer of hope. The death toll from yesterday’s mile-wide tornado is actually going down, as children presumed dead are being found and rescued alive. And evolving weather patterns have greatly lessened the chance for another tornadic outbreak in the Oklahoma City area.

Heartland Strong
While praying for the region this morning, I saw the words “HEARTLAND STRONG.” And I realized how, in the midst of this tragedy, the Lord intends to reconnect us all with the heart of America–with our own heart!

So again, please join us tonight for a special call to stand with the courageous and resilient people of the heartland. Dr. John Benefiel, lead apostle of the Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network and pastor of Oklahoma City’s Church on the Rock, will be joining us. Lynnie Harlow (see below) will be joining us as well. Note that this will replace our regularly scheduled Wednesday call.

Prophetic Warnings of Storm & Fire
Last week we focused on a key warning from the Lord about a coming storm. Our friend Lynnie Harlow had a prophetic experience a week ago today. An angel of the Lord warned her that “a storm is coming” and also fire. The angel of the Lord also spoke of God’s presence being released, and repeated three times “10 days time.” Note that there was no geographic location specified, just an overall encouragement to watch with the Lord. To view May 14, 15 postings click here.

From this warning and a similar admonition, we felt to extend our “Burning Scrolls Prayer Project” by two weeks. And we felt to cover this warning extensively last week on our Wednesday evening call. Later that night, we were stunned to discover Texas had been struck by tornadoes. And from Sunday til now, an overarching storm pattern struck Oklahoma with tornadoes, hail and thunderstorms.

Were these the only storms the Lord was warning of? I honestly do not know. But based on last week’s admonition, I feel we need to continue keeping watch regarding more potential storms–and potential fires as well. We want God’s holy winds, but not devastating tornadoes. We want God’s holy fire, but not tragic fires. As shared throughout this season, we need to pray with vigilance against any attempted use of atomic weaponry or biological warfare here and in the holy land.

As always we are inspired by your love for Jesus Christ and your consistent vigilance in watchful prayer. Lets all keep strong for the heartland, for our nation and Israel at this time! Jolene and look forward to sharing and praying with you all tonight.
