Line-in-Sand

Note: Jon and Jolene at Watchman’s Sword tomorrow. Please join us! 10:30 am, La Plata MD. We will be sharing and imparting key aspects of this coming move. Details at right.

Please consider a donation for our first Israel trip this September. Thanks to a generous investment, we are now only $2200 away from funding the trip! Thank you for making this decades-long dream come true at such a strategic time.

Secure Your Boundaries
Welcome to day 2 of the Line in the Sand Prayer Project. We named the project after a prophetic declaration James Goll made regarding key issues of our day. This prophetic statesman was spending his first night in his new home after an extensive move. For the first time in a year he heard the external, audible voice of the Lord thundering, “A line has been drawn in the sand!”

This prophetic experience was directly correlated to the Lord’s intent to establish His covenant boundaries for Israel. But I want to suggest something. If He is this passionate about defending Israel’s boundaries at this time, I believe He is also zealous to establish and defend your covenant boundaries. Ask the Lord to draw a line in the sand around your family, home and property, to keep you safe, protected and secure. Ask Him to secure your borders, and drive out the enemy!

We encourage you to make this a key part of your prayer focus. Many friends have recently experienced unprovoked attacks on their families etc. Now I’m not one to immediately correlate life’s many challenges to spiritual conflict—but the enemy’s marks were all over these traumatic situations. Thank you Jesus—through intercession, we have seen many of these situations turn around!

Receive Communion Daily!
On yesterday’s phone call, prayer leader Barbara Ingmire of WA shared a strong sense from the Lord to receive communion daily. I totally agree. For this season of prayer, please incorporate “the Table of the Lord” into your daily time with Jesus.

Barbara also encouraged us to seek the Lord diligently in preparation for receiving communion. Forgive all who have offended or wounded you. In your heart, release them! Ask the Lord to cleanse you of any bitterness or resentment that may linger in your heart. This process is vitally important both to remove the enemy’s access to your life, and to keep your “pipeline from heaven” free and clear.

Again, we encourage you to make communion a daily part of your life these 21 days. Your heart and life will be transformed!

God’s Restraining Order
And as you receive Christ’s body and blood, remind Him of your covenant with Him, and His vow to protect and defend you from the enemy. Below is a great scripture to stand on. I like to call it “God’s Restraining Order.”

“The covenant I have made with you, you shall not forget, nor shall you fear other gods; but the Lord your God you shall fear, and He shall deliver you from the hand of every adversary” (II Kings 17:38-9).

Just as a court in the natural can issue a restaining order against an abusive person, so the Court of Heaven will issue this restraining order against our supernatural enemies at your request. Truly, He will draw a line in the sand on your behalf! Ask the Lord to grant you His restraining order against your enemies. Ask Him to enforce His order in your world! This is key to turning challenging situations where the enemy has violated your covenant boundaries.

We also encourage you to pray 2 Thessalonians 3:1-4. Note here that God promises to guard and protect us even as we are being established in Him!

“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the WORD OF THE LORD may RUN SWIFTLY AND BE GLORIFIED, just as it is with you, and that we may be DELIVERED FROM UNREASONABLE AND WICKED MEN; for not all have faith. But the THE LORD IS FAITHFUL, who will ESTABLISH YOU AND GUARD YOU from the evil one.”
