HAPPY PASSOVER! Here’s a prophetic word to start you off. And then launch you into the deep.
“GOD IS OPENING THE DOOR TO A FREEDOM MOVEMENT—FOR ISRAEL AND AMERICA!” Ed Watts stopped me in my tracks yesterday with this prophetic utterance. “And for the nations,” he added. “That’s what we’re doing in Philadelphia!”
Our team had just reserved Weitzman Hall, the renown meeting room at the National Museum of Jewish American History where we met last year for the commissioning of the Rescued Lampstand Tour. On the 250th anniversary of America’s independence, in the very place where the Declaration of Independence was penned and signed by our forefathers, we are hosting a Spirit of America gathering.
April 21-22 were the dates we selected. And I just discovered yesterday that the evening of April 21 through April 22 is actually ISRAEL’S INDEPENDENCE DAY. We literally booked the Jewish museum in Philadelphia on the very date of Israel’s independence!
Can’t make this stuff up.
God is Opening a Door for a Freedom Movement
I called Ed Watts to get some feedback. And that’s when he blurted out, “GOD IS OPENING A DOOR for a freedom movement—for Israel and America, and for the nations!”
I fully agree. In fact this word is an answer to much prayer for our journey. It’s a major reason why we are launching the tour on April 18, the night of Paul Revere’s ride.
If you know your history, you know that Paul Revere made many journeys by horseback to Philadelphia. Including one to the First Continental Congress where the message delivered successfully rallied colonies to support Massachusetts in the Revolution.
The Jew who Secured American Liberty
But there’s more. God is not only opening the door for the freedom movement, I believe He is funding it.
Let me share with you another sacred jewel from history. One of the primary reasons I wanted to go to the Weitzman Hall is that the museum honors Jewish philanthropist Haym Salomon. A Philadelphia resident, SALOMON WAS THE PRIMARY FINANCEER OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION.
It could truly be said that we might not have our independence without him. Congress consistently failed to provide the needs of the army fighting for our independence. Haym Salomon poured into the troops. He literally funded the Revolution’s final battle, Yorktown, almost singlehandedly. Victory was secured!
Yet in the end Salomon died in poverty. America’s war debt was never repaid to him. His family was left penniless. Haym Salomon literally gave his all to see the freedom movement of his day succeed. And again, without the financial intervention of a Jewish leader towards this cause, it’s very possible we would not have secured the passover movement in our history, our exodus into freedom that the Revolution gained.
Further, Salomon’s investment even stretched to the rebirth of God’s covenant land of Israel in 1948. America was the first nation to stand with Israel, and our covenant partnership remains strong today. But it was from America’s independence that Israel’s independence was secured.
God is Funding His Freedom Movement Today!
As we honor Haym Salomon, we also honor all the financiers whose precious investments are being summoned to fund today’s freedom movement. God gives power to gain wealth to establish His covenant (Deut. 8:18). And just as in Salomon’s day, you might not fully see God’s harvest of blessing in your day. But I promise you, the securing of freedom now will cause your offspring to flourish in the future. God is bringing forth more than you can possibly imagine.
And the “Spirit of America” gathering is landing in Philadelphia on April 22 as we celebrate both the 250th anniversary of American independence, and also Israel’s Independence Day.

Covenant Alignment, Full Circle Moment
Which brings up an incredible point. Our Rescued Lampstand Tour was commissioned on May 2 one year ago. Again at Weitzman Hall. On the tour we explored Patmos, the seven lampstand churches and then ancient Nicaea, where we repented on our faces for Constantine’s codification of antisemitism within Christian doctrine and practice. Sealing this covenant rededication in Jerusalem afterwards.
And from May 2 in Philadelphia last year to April 22 this year, the journey itself will come full circle. On Israel’s Independence Day. With a freedom movement for Israel, America and the nations.
Israel and America. I have a sense prophetically that this gathering brings us to both a covenantal dedication and a promised release of His double portion blessing. What else is He doing?
