If someone put your child in danger, every warfare prayer in the Book would suddenly become unleashed through your mouth. You would pray through until breakthrough, even if you don’t consciously know what that means. You would thunder in tongues. And Heaven and earth would move accordingly.
You sometimes must contend for your prayer life like you would contend for the life of a loved one. The Lord showed me this principle during a time of severe spiritual warfare. Try as I might, I literally couldn’t find Him. I couldn’t even find my own heart. Out of the storm, the voice of the Lord finally thundered—YOUR PRAYER LIFE IS UNDER ATTACK. PRAY FOR YOUR PRAYER LIFE!
Did you know occultists are taught to curse the prayer lives of believers? It’s true. By disengaging you from prayer they are disengaging you from your most vital source of power. A personal relationship with Him.
I prayed. And to my great surprise, my desire and capacity to pray bounced back so quickly it was stunning. Yours will too.
Pray for your prayer life! Interact with Jesus over it. Ask the Lord to fully restore all that He intends for your intimacy and authority in Him. Ask Him to take out all spiritual warfare against you, known or unknown. Take authority over demonic forces targeting your prayer life, breaking all curses through the blood of Jesus and commanding these forces to be disengaged from you. Break the power of all curses and counter-curses. Commanded the full restoration of everything they were attempting to steal. And more. Nothing can separate you from the love of God. In all these things, you are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ.
