DEAR FRIENDS,
FLYING OUT FROM ISRAEL I am at a loss of words. Thank you so much for your generosity. When I put out the invitation to give towards Oct 7 survivors, I honestly thought we might get $1000 or so. Even though I sensed God’s directive was for $7000.
YOU CAME THROUGH. In just a few days! And together we were able to give an offering of more than $7500 FROM THE LAMPLIGHTER FAMILY to a moshav community that was viciously struck on October 7. More was added from our leadership team.
Further, we were able to present a $2000 donation FROM THE LAMPLIGHTER FAMILY to a special foundation that cares for lone soldiers. THAT’S A TOTAL OF $9500!!!
I hope you understand what a miracle this is. We have never made such large donation to provide relief and care. For almost 2 years now we have invested our lives in nonstop intercession. Now our treasures have brought life where our hearts have compelled us to pray.
Our visit to the moshav took place on the final day of the tour. It was specially arranged by our tour guide Shirit and the Sar-El tour company at our request. We had just culminated our “rescued lampstand assignment” with a powerful renewal of covenant vows on Shavuot, divorced from greco-roman paganism and the scourge of antisemitism. This was followed by a private tour of the City of David, including special access to the newly-discovered Altar of Melchizedek.
We’ll share more on both ASAP. But I wanted to immediately share with you the beautiful way in which your offering was given. I also wanted to share with you the reality on the ground. Fair warning, the article is longer than usual, and its subject matter is unsettling.
Blessing the Beach-Head—With Chuck Pierce Prophecy
The moshav Netiv HaAsara is actually the closest of all to the actual Gaza border. In fact it abuts the Gaza wall. The land was beautiful. With the sparkling blue waters of the Mediterranean forming a natural boundary, the moshav gave an initial impression of a beach-side neighborhood in south Florida. Maybe it’s not a coincidence that one of the larger bomb shelters, which features a playground above it, was donated from Palm Beach.
You might remember that Chuck Pierce prophesied that by Shavuot it is time to establish a beach-head for our future. On the Mediterranean Sea, Netiv HaAsara is a true natural beach-head, as well as the “tip of the spear” for the protecting and rebuilding that restores families to their land. It was a sign and a wonder we culminated our tour here.
Moshav Tour with David
A friend of our guide Shirit led the tour, and later received your special donation. For the sake of security, I cannot show his face nor can I convey his real name. So let’s call him David.
David is a lone soldier who spent more than 240 days in high-level combat as part of special forces for the IDF. He now serves as a civil protection officer for the moshav.
Our first stop on David’s tour was another bomb shelter. On October 7, it became the site of a devastating slaughter.
First came the missiles. They were shot into the sky from all points along Gaza’s border, sending residence scrambling for shelter.
David explained how, when rockets are fired from Gaza towards Tel Aviv or central Israel, the sirens give you a minute and a half to take shelter. In the areas immediately surrounding the Gaza border, the time to react is mere seconds.
Running for shelter, most residents assumed that the missiles were the main threat. But the enemy had other plans. The rockets only served to push people into homes and shelters, so that when the terrorists arrived there would be no resistance from the residents. This strategy was implemented at every area along the 25 mile-long strip. Until the shooting started most families were completely unaware that they had just been invaded.
The Roots are Stronger than the Supplanters
David took us to a beautiful Memorial Garden where ancient olive trees had been imported and replanted in memory of the fallen. Their roots, he explained, go far deeper into the ground and are far stronger than any enemy wishing to supplant them.
Remember God’s lampstand is sustained by the oil from these trees. In a similar way, we are sustained by the resolve of those who have paid the price for our freedom.
Borders, Tunnels and Explosions
Finally, the lone soldier brought us to the Gaza boundary wall itself. Just beyond the concrete panels, painted and decorated primarily for the sake of the children, we had a clear view of the Gaza Strip. Occasionally explosions could be heard. Also spurts of gunfire.
Later in the day, one larger explosion seemed close. But it was likely far more distant than the others, penetrating deep enough into the earth to reach the tunnels. A massive, tangled web spanning more than 400 miles, the tunnels beneath Gaza exist at all depths, spanning the entirety of a land only 25 miles long and 7.5 miles wide at its widest. It is only 140 square miles total. That equates to approximately 3 miles of tunnels for every square mile of Gaza. A fact which has made rescuing the remaining hostages a virtual impossibility.
The Car Cemetery
After presenting the Lamplighter offering at the moshav, our tour team visited a massive outdoor compound stacked with rusted automobiles, surrounded by what seemed to be miles of other cars. Someone described it as a car cemetery.
On October 7 massive traffic jams had turned roads into killing fields as terrorists gunned down multitudes who had been mercilessly trapped while trying to escape. The cars still with paint were riddled with bullets. Each of the rusted cars had been engulfed in an inferno.
Nova Festival Site—Let My People Go
We culminated our visit at the very site of the Nova festival in Re’im. Makeshift memorials show the names, faces and family memories of the perished.
It was there that our tour really culminated. Jamie Fitt got out his guitar, and led in worship on the land. We wept. We prayed, through the grief was so overwhelming it was hard to do so.
I personally led in a prayer the Lamplighter family has decreed hundreds of times by now. Isaiah 49:25. “I will contend with the one who contends with you, and I will save your children.” Looking over the fields where almost 400 were mercilessly abused and killed, leaning into Holy Spirit strength, I then led our team in declaring, LET MY PEOPLE GO! And loosing the freedom movement that secures God’s intended future.
The Rescued Lampstand
From Constantine’s bridge in Rome to ancient Nicaea, from Patmos to Tel Megiddo or Armageddon, from the seven lampstand churches to the sacred altar of Melchizedek, I knew the Lord had granted our plea. The lampstand had been rescued and grafted back into the covenantal legacy of our forefathers.
We had been granted a covenant renewal, divorced from greco-roman paganism and antisemitism that had become codified within Christianity since the Council of Nicaea. A special bottle of Cana wine even was presented by our friends Kerry and Sandra Teplinsky as a prophetic token that our covenant renewal was met with God’s approval.
Best wine for last! We as individuals, as a ministry and as a tour had gained the victory the Lord invited us to attain. Thanks to you, we even had the honor of sowing generously into the moshav Netiv HaAsara as a beach-head for a better future.
Yet standing in this “valley of dry bones” surrounding Gaza, I honestly struggled to summon the faith that the victory was enough. As Chuck Pierce prophesied, the beach-head has indeed been gained. But now it seems the hardest work begins. Thank you all again for your prayers, and your offering.
