DEAR FRIENDS,
HANUKKAH BEGINS TOMORROW. BE A MACCABEE! Join prayer movements nationwide this Feast of Dedication and lets light the night in a virtual candlelight vigil. Like the Maccabees, make this prophetic action a symbol of your renewed covenant with the God of Israel. Decree the redemption of any aspect of your covenantal heritage now held captive. Including your children, your parents, inheritances, etc. Pray even over aspects of America’s heritage you feel are being held captive, and rededicate these expressions to the Lord.
Most importantly, lets pray for the release of hostages and for a breakthrough for Israel in the ongoing war with Hamas. Lets seek forgiveness for the horrific rise of anti-semitism in our land, especially on college campuses. Lets bear witness to the continued covenantal solidarity between Israel and America!
AS A KEY PART OF THIS VIGIL, please pray for your own cities, all across America. In an unprecedented statement yesterday, FBI director Christopher Wray described the terror threat as being at “an all-time high. I see blinking red lights everywhere!” Please pray for covenantal protection of our cities, churches, synagogues and nation. Pray for our intelligence and law enforcement communities. Pray especially for Washington DC and New York City.
Pray even over Hawaii, where 82 years ago this Dec. 7, a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor propelled us into WWII. Never again!

THE CALLING OF OUR TIME… As we shared in previous posts and videos, this December 7 marks a significant convergence between the first night of Hanukkah and America’s entry into World War II. What is the Lord conveying? Are we facing a surprise attack similar to Pearl Harbor? To 9-11?
No matter what, it seems we are mandated to confront an antichrist expression of evil similar to what was confronted by Maccabees and the Greatest Generation. An observation by former president George W. Bush seems appropriate. In his nationwide address at the prayer service following the 9-11 attack, he observed that “THE COMMITMENT OF OUR FATHERS IS THE CALLING OF OUR TIME.”
In a very real way, both the mantle and the burden they carried has now fallen upon us. Now lets light the night.
