DEAR FRIENDS,
WE LAUNCH the national “Turn the Storm Tour” tomorrow at Remnant Church, Brunswick GA. We are now seeing Heaven’s storm shift the storm the enemy is seeking to release. As we traverse the holy ground of these 13 colonies, a new birth of freedom is again at hand. Sons of the Storm Winds are coming forth!
And tonight is THE NIGHT BEFORE THE STORM.
“Come from the four winds, o Breath, and breathe on these slain that they may live!” (Ezekiel 37:9). When Ezekiel prophesied, Heaven’s winds penetrated the earth realm. Dry bones embedded in a battlefield were rebirthed into living human beings. A mighty army arose. SONS OF THE STORM WINDS came alive!
Throughout our consecration and commissioning in Jacksonville, we have shared extensively on the legacy of the Huguenots in the land. They were French puritans. Lets bottom-line their legacy in a way that helps you understand how, in a very real way, you are a spiritual offspring of the Huguenots today.
At the core, Huguenots were a community of prophetic Christians who loved Jesus with all their hearts, and established covenant with the Lord for Him to dwell with them in their land.
Doesn’t this sound like you today?
I saw how the martyrdom of the Huguenots in one generation brought forth descendants marked to shift this very ground into freedom, mighty warriors that literally launched, fought and won the American Revolution.
And I tell you by the word of the Lord, more revolutionaries are coming forward out of the rich seed of this spiritual legacy. Again as members of the body of Christ, you and I carry the same blood—the blood of Jesus—and the same Spirit. The Spirit of prophecy, the testimony of Jesus. Therefore the mantle representing this calling and anointing is available to you as well. SONS OF THE STORM WINDS COME FORTH!
Revere and Marion—
Launched, Turned and Won the American Revolution!
Lets look at two. Bostonian Paul Revere was a descendent of Huguenots who sailed to these shores fleeing religious persecution. Not coincidentally, it was Paul Revere who was chosen to literally launch the American Revolution. Perceiving two lights shining from the Old North Church, he embarked on a midnight ride to awaken the Continental Army.
Revere rode to launch a revolution. He rode to birth a freedom nation. And of course, he was a descendent of the wild prophetic company of Huguenots.
As most of you know, Cindy Jacobs prophesied to us that we were spiritual ‘Paul Reveres,’ holding out a burning lamp, engaging in a midnight ride from city to city, and instead of saying ‘the British are coming’ we would be declaring ‘the Lord is coming!’
That was 22 years ago. And we are now engaging yet again in another midnight ride from city to city. Our friend Lauren Main entrusted to us a sacred lamp, a menorah from Jerusalem that she brought through the very land in France where the Huguenots dwelt.
Can’t make this stuff up.
The legendary Francis Marion from South Carolina was also a descendent of the Huguenots. He was a mighty warrior. In fact, Marion’s pioneering tactics of ‘asymmetrical warfare’ completely upended the advance of British troops in the south and turned the trajectory of the entire Revolution. He largely contributing to the stunning defeat of the strongest army in the known world.
Nicknamed “the Swamp Fox,” Marion became a father of what is known today as special ops warfare. You may or may not have heard of Francis Marion. But you are probably very familiar with his legacy. The movie “The Patriot,” starred Mel Gibson as this legendary Swamp Fox.
Two “Sons of the Storm Winds” launched and turned the American Revolution. I’m telling you, the storm winds of the enemy may be blowing again today, but God is releasing Heaven’s storm winds to once again bring a turnaround!
This my friends is the word of the Lord. Turnaround. Storm winds blow!
And this brings to mind a chapter in our new book “Turnaround Decrees” called “Into the Storm.” It’s all about the challenges we have faced in our nation’s governance and culture. And in this chapter we prophesy God’s turnaround.
We began the chapter with a pretty famous quote. “Fate whispers to the warrior, You cannot withstand the storm. The warrior whispers back, I AM THE STORM.”
