DEAR MISSION-ESSENTIAL WATCHMEN,
THROUGHOUT AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER WE WARNED PROPHETICALLY that this 9-11 marks another “time gate” similar to 9-11-01. With the trajectories of our nation, our world and the body of Christ poised to change in an epoch-defining manner. 

And remember this 9-11 marked an unprecedented convergence with Rosh Hashanah and Yom Teruah. In many ways the palpable urgency and shift in trajectory that marked 9-11 this year are also defining our year. Yom Kippur is now at hand. 

Yom Kippur 2026—Seals, Scrolls, Global Conflict
“G’MAR CHATIMA TOVA.” In other words, “a good final sealing.” This traditional Yom Kippur greeting is based on the Jewish belief that the destinies of men and nations are “penciled in” on Rosh Hashanah/Yom Teruah and sealed the Book of Life at the close of Yom Kippur. 

Between these dates we all have an opportunity through teshuvah or repentance to gain a better verdict than our actions alone deserve. 

Again, tonight marks the final 25-hour countdown of the holiest day of the year, Yom Kippur. Lets review a partial list of real-time challenges we are facing nationally and globally. 

  • President Trump just returned from Camp David early amid reports that countering Iran’s nuclear threat now demands an immediate response. 
  • Armageddon? According to Fox News Rep. Tim Burchett stated Saturday that the initial US intervention in Iran was to prevent the IRGC from immediately gaining a nuclear device. “The Iranians were close to nuclear,” he said. “They were getting ready to launch Armageddon…” 
  • The State Department has now warned American travelers to the mideast to forego trips to the region. The bulletin warned that airspace closures are immediately expected. US Embassies and missions in Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and the UAE issued the warnings. 
  • Meanwhile, in Moscow Vladmir Putin has threatened to unleash a firestorm across Europe. This as Russia’s capitol of Moscow is now burning from an unprecedented Ukraine attack targeting Russia’s oil production. Hundreds of drones and a ballistic missile were deployed. One refinery hit supplies 40 percent of the city’s fuel.  
  • Also in Europe, massive terror attacks were being planned by Hamas marking the third anniversary of October 7. Covert weapons depots have been established across Europe in preparation. In a takedown rivaling season 5 of Fauda, German authorities are believed to have largely thwarted the plot. But we need to keep praying for Europe and America. 

“You Are Mission-Essential!”
Yesterday morning the Holy Spirit woke Jolene up with the phrase, “YOU ARE MISSION ESSENTIAL!” She understood that the time frame between now and October 7 the Lord needs His people to be fully engaged, keeping vigilant watch with Him. 

Please keep in mind that Jolene and I are traveling to Israel for a massive, thousand-pastor strong prayer meeting on October 7 at the Kotel or Western Wall. Jolene made it clear the Spirit of God was pointing out to her how vital this Israel mission was to Him. 

Secondly the Lord was calling Jolene and me to respond to His summoning like special ops teams. Being very focused and intentional on the assignment at hand now through October 7. 

And yes, the Lord actually spoke to Jolene about spec-ops intentionality. A few days ago we finished watching Fauda season 5, depicting the Israeli special operations unit called the Duvdevan. This season deals with October 7 and its repercussions. It is breathtaking in the scope of what it conveys for Israel and Europe especially. Above all else it conveys a realistic, heart-wrenching portrayal of the October 7 travesty.

Remember, October 7 is Israel’s 9-11. And as mentioned above, Hamas and other Iran-backed terror organizations are seeking to replicate October 7 in this season. If Europe is a target, you can be sure Israel and America are too. YOUR WATCH IS MISSION-ESSENTIAL! 

Your Watch is Mission-Essential
According to Google, mission-essential functions are defined as vital responsibilities that an organization or government agency must continue to fulfill during an emergency, disaster, or crisis.

Also according to Google, mission-essential personnel are defined as employees, military members, or contractors required to report to work in person or maintain remote operations during disruptions, severe weather, or government shutdowns to ensure continuity.

Okay. That said, lets all keep watch—before the Throne and in our spheres of authority. It is Mission-Essential. Scrolls over nations are being determined. This Yom Kippur, lets all petition the Lord for g’mar chatima tova. A better verdict than our actions alone deserve.
