I’ll never forget the moment Jolene stepped into view. Everyone in the church drew a collective gasp. Jolene is naturally beautiful, but when she made her procession down the aisle Heaven was in her eyes, her smile, her being. It was like time itself was stilled by her presence.

Jolene’s mom called her a crybaby just after our wedding. Actually she called us both crybabies. But in truth there wasn’t a dry eye in the place. For years, Jolene was known in the tight-knit church as the “poster child for single-hood.” She refused to date until she knew God had brought the right guy to her, just as He had promised. For seven long years she wore a ring that bore witness to her covenant with the Lord, set apart for Him and for the husband He had chosen for her.

When we became engaged, she actually put that ring on my finger… and it was a perfect fit. My wedding ring to this day.

When God Lit our Menorah
Most of you know our wedding story. How when we were married, God supernaturally lit our unity candle. On the first day of Hanukkah, in front of everybody!

Of course, the unity candle ceremony was supposed to be the centerpiece of our wedding ceremony. We even had the menorah specially shipped in from Jerusalem. But as we were singing “Glory, glory, send your glory” the Lord beat us to it. My best man Will Ford nudged me, a tear streaming down his face. He pointed to the menorah, with the candle suddenly lit. I gasped. Then all our guests collectively gasped again!

God lit the unity candle of our menorah as we were coming into covenant together, on the first day of Hanukkah, as we were worshiping the Lord and asking for His glory to come. To this day the igniting of this sacred flame has marked both our personal relationship and our calling in the Lord.

I don’t even need to mention we’re called “Lamplighter Ministries,” right? And not because of our wedding. That was my ministry for years before we were married. On our day of covenant, God sealed what He and we had begun.

Hanukkah & the Jesus Revolution
Remember the meaning of Hanukkah. Spiritual revolutionaries known as Maccabees took back their Temple from occupying Grecian armies. They relit the flame of the menorah to reconsecrate the Temple—to renew covenant with the Lord. Only enough oil remained in the menorah for a day. Yet supernaturally, the menorah blazed for eight days!

I don’t think it’s any coincidence that the Light of the World came into the world over Hanukkah. December 25 is always close to the Hanukkah celebration, but I don’t personally believe He was born then. Instead He was actually conceived over Hanukkah.

No matter how you believe, this year God wants to conceive fire again in His bride! He wants to set you on fire with the covenant flame of His glory. He wants to ignite another Jesus Revolution!

That is ultimately why we are in Israel. And it’s why we are heading back immediately for Revolution 2015 during the remainder of Hanukkah. We wholeheartedly believe God is going to light the flame of a second Jesus Revolution!

Let me say this again for emphasis. We wholeheartedly believe this Hanukkah God wants to light the flame of a second Jesus Revolution. It’s why we chose Life Center with Charles Stock. It’s why we’ve invited Chuck Pierce and James Goll to join us. If you haven’t made plans yet we would love for you to join us.

Glory Train—Glory Procession
Our visit to Jerusalem will also mark the official launch of the “Glory Train,” just as our first visit to Jerusalem marked the beginning of the 13 Colonies “Glory Procession” two years ago. Really, we could begin no where else. Because Israel marks where Jesus’ “Glory Procession” began, and where it all culminates in the end of days.

Revelation 19:11 provides a great and dramatic picture of this. ”And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse. He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war…”

Heaven vav Earth… Heaven at your gates! All nations will be delivered from subjugation when this Glory Procession comes to a close and the conquering King takes His throne. The covenant marriage between God and man will be forever established on earth. And the train of His robe—His glory—will fill the temple for eternity!

As we do our part in this season, we all have the unimaginable privilege of participating in His Glory Procession, preparing the way for His coming. It cannot be said enough we are honored to take our particular journey with you.

The amazing thing is we get a foretaste of this even in this hour. God’s covenant flame be with you all!
