ANNOUNCING—STORM BEACON PRAYER PROJECT

“There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the ROARING OF THE SEA AND THE WAVES, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken” (Luke 21-25-6).

Friends, I know this is last-minute. But I sense from the Lord a call to watch and pray now through September 11. So we are beginning today the “Storm Beacon Prayer Project!”

So much of the prophetic revelation of the past few months directly points to a climatic period beginning around 9-11. I believe the Lord is calling us to a season of “inconvenient intimacy” that counters the work of the enemy in this season.

I asked the Lord for direction and confirmation on this, and what I saw was literally chilling.

Remember the dream of a wave coming towards Washington DC? How God conveyed that Capitol Hill was “a last line of defense?” Well… what I didn’t realize is that the back cover of our book Crown & Throne is an exact representation of this very dream!

The graphic above was taken directly from our book. My friend and extraordinary artist James Nesbit created the art two years ago for Crown & Throne. I frankly didn’t see the connection between ocean waves and the Capitol, but it certainly seemed to convey hope amidst a time of tumult. Friends, in a way that is inexplicable apart from God, I believe the Lord is conveying to us that we are entering this very season within a few short weeks.

Covenant Protection & Provision
Certainly many have felt an urgency to pray. But why start today? This morning I sensed the Lord compelling me to step into this watch. And He gave me Deuteronomy 8:18. God grants us the power to gain wealth to establish the covenant that He swore to our forefathers! By God’s grace alone, this watch will further establish His covenant with our nation even in the midst of tumult.

And I further believe this watch will also establish His protective covering over our collective provision from Him. The wealth of Heaven, the wealth of earth to see His dream for our lives and world protected and advanced. Amen!

Signs & Wonders
Two other “8-18” scriptures come to my heart. Isaiah 8:18 declares that “both I and the children the Lord God has given me are for signs and wonders.” We have been contending for our offspring all year. We remember the promises made from birth, and therefore we know they are called by the Lord, appointed for their lives to become signs and wonders—living beacons and directives that guide us through the storm. Somehow there’s an activation of this promise in the season ahead.

Sovereign Signs & Wonders
Exodus 8:18 was also highlighted to me. It’s such an interesting passage. “And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not; so there was lice upon man and beast.”

Does this mean anything to you? Lets break down the passage. Already in play were God’s progressive judgements against the government of Egypt and the gods of Egypt. Pharaoh hardened his heart. After all, much of the signs and wonders invoked by Moses were duplicated by Pharaoh’s occult practitioners!

Remember these occultists were part of Pharaoh’s entourage. They were responsible for maintaining the occult empowerment of their government.

But there came a “tipping point” in the journey where God’s miracles shifted past the spiritual technology of these occultists. They could no longer spin a counterfeit of God’s signs and wonders. And through the journey, these magicians actually became the first to recognize the supremacy of the God of Moses over their forces. “This is the finger of God!”

In the midst of much shaking, I believe God is rising up to establish His covenant in the earth—in Israel, America and the nations. He is about to bring forth something in the earth this season that conveys His supremacy over spiritual technologies and even human technologies. A sign and wonder to clearly convey His way.

Further, the Lord is going to show Himself as the Redeemer of Time. Kairos time and chronos time. Just thought I’d throw that in.

Your Time of Preparation
Unprecedented days are upon us. “By smooth words he (antichrist spirit) will turn to godlessness those who act wickedly toward the covenant, but the people who know their God will display strength and take action” (Daniel 11:32). Lets take time now to gain new strength, trim our lamps and prepare to be beacons in the storm. Amen!
