The Glory Train is launched! Thank you for standing with us over these seven months of birthing this movement. Faneuil Hall was amazing. I can’t wait to actually have some time to chronicle the astounding things the Lord has done. But one thing you have to know now. We had the honor of being commissioned at Faneuil Hall by Chuck Pierce and Dutch Sheets. And they both prophesied, “The awakening has begun! Tell them wherever you go, THE AWAKENING HAS BEGUN!”
Tonight we visit historic Northampton MA, the epicenter of the First Great Awakening with Jonathan Edwards. This village is really where the expanding revival matured into a history-defining movement, even leading to the birthing of the American Revolution. WE ARE BELIEVING GOD FOR THE SAME.
Remember covenant opens the door to glory. With the Mayflower Compact, this land and government is consecrated for “the Glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith.” Not a coincidence that the manifestation of God’s glory and the rapid advancement of the Christian faith were two primary hallmarks of the sweeping awakening with Edwards, Whitefield, the Wesleys and others.
And the best is yet to come. Thank you Jesus! You are faithful to Your word. You are breaking forth like the breakthrough of many waters! And we will complete the turnaround You have offered us.
Remember New England’s covenant with God is really America’s covenant with God. And now we are crossing the threshold. Since sharing this vision a week ago, it has become a central focus for our team as we prayed in Provincetown and Plymouth. And we received as a verdict from Heaven’s Court on 7-22 the Bride’s awakening and vindication.
No words to describe the gratitude we feel from our Redeemer Jesus Christ. TELL THEM THE AWAKENING HAS BEGUN!
Desolation Breaks! Vision of Bride’s Awakening
The hallmark of the In 1996, while living on Cape Cod, MA, the Lord gave me a vision of the Bride of Christ in America. Though I didn’t realize it at the time, this vision was actually a commission from the Lord that would come to define almost two decades of ministry. It is the most important vision the Lord ever gave me.
At the time I was in early morning prayer with my pastor for revival in Provincetown and Cape Cod. It was in Provincetown harbor that the Pilgrims cut covenant with the Lord on 11-11, 1620. The village is now known as a homosexual community.
Pastor Gamble had received a series of recurring dreams, in which a propped-up casket was before him. In each dream he would prophesy, “Live, live!” to the casket. Yet nothing happened. He dreamed this night after night.
As the pastor shared, the Lord took me into a prophetic experience where I literally saw his vision. How this happened, I have no idea. But I saw God’s hand come to the casket and break it open. He reached in and pulled up a mummy, wrapped in grave-clothes, out of the casket. Then the hand of the Lord began to unwrap the grave clothes. The face of a beautiful woman emerged. When the wraps were taken off below her neck, I was stunned to see a little child nestled against her bosom.
The Lord began to speak to this woman, “Where you have felt like a widow, abandoned by Me and far from My hand of provision—instead I am bringing you into a season of intimacy with Me and abundance from My hand! And indeed, I have saved the best wine for last.”
In 1996, I had no grid for any of the subjects covered in these pages, just a passion for God and breakthrough prayer. But through the past few decades I have come to appreciate the precision of the vision as a spiritual blueprint for the awakening and recovery of His bride.
Remember Jesus’ definition of awakening, found in John 11:11. From death to life! Lazarus our friend has fallen asleep, but I go that I may awaken him from slumber. The above vision is certainly a picture of an awakening!
It was clear to me that the woman in the vision represented His bride in New England and the Nation, betrothed to Jesus Christ from our inception. The baby represented our heritage—the fruit of His precious covenant with our land. Within the vision we see deliverance not only from death, but from the filthy garments of generational sin. Just as with Hosea’s bride, this bride of Christ in America then receives an invitation to covenant intimacy and restored prosperity….
I knew even then that this represented a breakthrough from some kind of covenant with death…
What’s ahead? As we emerge from our darkness and confinement, covenantally and governmentally the Bride enters a new season. God is ushering us into intimacy with Himself, abundance from His hand, and the release of the best wine saved for last!
Best of all, the fruit of this covenant between Bridegroom and bride has been preserved from being aborted.
Best Wine for Last!
Lamplighter family, the fulfillment of this vision is our highest priority. It is our highest expectation. It marks the fullest expression of turnaround the Lord has promised. Out of desolation—freed from the covenant with death and hell—the Bride of Christ is now awakening. The fruit of this sacred covenant is preserved from abortion. Desolation breaks. BEST WINE FOR LAST!
