GLORY TRAIN SOJOURNERS,
It’s time for the second journey of the Glory Train. We are launching with the conviction that only a move of God carries the power to genuinely shift our nation. It’s our greatest hope! The challenges of this season have proven this true. We need you Lord!
So tonight at Virginia Beach, on 8-18, we are connecting with the covenantal foundations from which our entire nation was established. And we are framing our future in glory!
Covenant of the Cross
This morning, Jolene and I will be joining our host Chris Mitchell, as well as Texas leader Tom Schlueter, to pray at the historic Founders Cross. On April 29, 1607, Robert Hunt led the Virginia Company in consecrating this land for the gospel of Jesus Christ. “From these very shores,” he declared, “the Gospel shall go forth to not only this New World, but the entire world.”
Note that monuments to men are toppling. But memorials to the Lord remain before His eyes and heart for eternity.
It’s no coincidence we are launching on 8-18, even as we close out the Covenant Wealth Campaign. Deuteronomy 8:18 declares that God gives power to gain wealth to establish the covenant He swore to our forefathers. As we align with His covenant and seek to establish it in our day, He will respond by granting power to gain wealth—His vast riches in Heaven and earth—to see this dream come to pass. Glory!
Restoring the Glory of God
Most of you know that last year we circled the entire nation in prayer and revival on the Glory-Train Turnaround Tour. We were privileged to touch all 50 states. Last year’s objective was different in that we were compelled to focus primarily on catalyzing national turnaround. It has been extraordinary to see how the Lord met us. Turnaround is literally an understatement!
For this year’s Glory Train journey we feel to focus on the restoration of God’s glory in the land. Ezekiel saw His glory “coming in by way of the gate facing east.” Especially with its covenantal foundations, I believe Virginia Beach is the place where the geographic “east gate” of the United States connects and opens.
I actually saw this in a vision more than a decade ago. By Christ’s own mandate, we are summoning in His glory through these gates and coast to coast.
Bonnie Jones: 2016 Turnaround—2017 Glory!
Remember that Bonnie Jones compelled us in 2016 to seek God’s turnaround for the nation. She saw that without God’s intended turnaround we’d be headed over a precipice! That’s something to keep in mind even as we face troubling issues in this hour. That said, please continue to pray for the Trump administration. The higher ground MUST be taken.
For 2017, Bonnie prophesied to us to concentrate on the restoration of God’s glory. This year marked the 40th anniversary of a dire prophecy her husband Bob Jones had given. On March 11, 1977 he saw how “Ichabod” had been written over the doorposts of the American church. Bob always felt that after 40 years God’s discipline would be lifted, and His glory would begin to be restored!
In fact, his entire “Glory Train” prophecy was focused on a new move of God stemming from the restoration of His glory.
March 11, 2017 happened to mark the first night of Purim. We were privileged to minister with Bonnie in Charlotte NC to see “Ichabod” erased as a verdict from the Throne! We then joined Jamie Fitt, James Nesbit and Ed Watts for the Crown and Throne Israel Tour. Retracing the steps of King David as he restored the Ark of the Covenant from captivity to its resting place in Jerusalem.
David repaired his nation’s covenant with God! We have seen His covenant with our nation repaired as well. Which opens the door to the restoration of His glory.
Ichabod erased, glory released! I’ll never forget our call from Israel with the Lamplighter family, sharing the Purim Verdict for the first time, then journeying to ancient Shiloh and governmentally release Heaven’s decree. Jesus judges and makes war. He is establishing His verdict in this hour! (Rev. 19:11).
Glory Train Vision
I knew then that the Lord was sending us on another journey across the nation. We were to follow the original vision of the journey, rolling on the tracks from Virginia Beach to San Diego.
It was late in the summer of 2014 when the Lord gave me this vision. We spent a week in Virginia Beach to explore the grounds where our nation was covenanted to Jesus Christ. I was awakened by a fighter jet and saw a vision.
Railroad tracks formed before me from Virginia Beach all the way to San Diego CA. I saw a strong locomotive, fashioned of gold and silver, rolling down the tracks. It blew columns of steam which looked like a tornado. The phrase “Glory Train” immediately came to me. This vision became the focus of our national pursuit ever since.
Towards Tabernacles
This year Jolene and I had originally planned on spending three months on the train. But the Lord completely upended my plans this June, speaking to me to complete the tour on the first night of the Feast of Tabernacles. We were then to return for the 50 tent, 50 state “Awaken the Dawn” gathering in Washington DC.
Beginning tonight, we are being sent governmentally by the Lord to bear witness coast to coast to the restoration of God’s glory in the land by the Feast of Tabernacles. Followed by a national Tabernacles gathering on the mall! Can’t make this stuff up…
As we launch, Jolene and I are grateful for each of you. Thank you for praying and for contributing so generously these past 10 days. Know that you have sown into the restoration of God’s covenant promise! We pray He commands His blessing over you and the cause for which you have sown. Amen!
