DID PUTIN BLOW UP TRUMP’S PEACE DEAL? The Russian Foreign Ministry just refused a key demand by Zelenskyy, Trump, and European leaders as part of a proposed “land for peace” deal. Security measures similar to the NATO pact are to be set in place to guard against further Russian aggression.
You know, just in case a certain Russian leader changes his mind. Again. And decides to take even more Ukrainian or European territory in a few weeks. Or maybe years.
Sadly, Trump’s common-sense security proposal was flatly rejected. As if to drive home the point, Russia continued bombing Ukraine, killing seven in Kharkiv during Trump’s meeting with Zelenskyy and allies at the White House.
Good thing you’re praying.
CALL 911
Many friends have sensed something dark on the horizon. The substance of the challenge remains unclear. But what is very clear is that kingdoms are clashing right now. Our hope is to see the Lord move to restrain the evil altogether. At the very same time, God is offering us a double portion of His blessing. All of this is conveyed in the “911” scripture the Lord gave us for this project.
“As for you also, because of the blood of My covenant with you,
I have set your prisoners free from the waterless pit. Return to the stronghold, you prisoners who have the hope; this very day I am declaring that I will restore double to you” (Zech. 9:11-12).
THE WARRIOR’S SWORD
How does He plan on this? By raising up warriors to contend against Greece. Just insert here Greco-Roman mindsets and idolatry or paganism. And He will make us like a warrior’s sword.
For I will bend Judah as My bow, I will fill the bow with Ephraim.
And I will stir up your sons, Zion, against your sons, Greece; and I will make you like a warrior’s sword (Zech. 9:13)..
We have been fashioned into swords of the Lord of hosts. He has summoned us together to both keep watch against the evil and secure this double portion of His promises in this season. Lets go after all of this together. Lets see the challenges the Lord is warning about either mitigated or completely restrained. And lets attain all that the Lord has for us. Now is your time!
9-11 FLYING SCROLL FAST
This Thursday, August 21, marks 21 days to September 11. Consider it a final sprint towards the goal. One of the ways in which the prophet Daniel moved to attain God’s promises for his nation was to engage in 21 days of prayer and fasting.
In like manner, I would ask you to consider a special Daniel-type fast, embracing seven key disciplines you can carry through into your new season.
- Receive communion daily. The table of the Lord!
- Identify the double portion promises you want the Lord to manifest in your life. What scriptures convey your promises? Pray over these and take notes daily of your impressions from the Lord.
- Build a throne of intercessory intervention. Pray 45 minutes daily. Some may want to set a goal to pray in the Spirit 45 minutes daily. Include the release of Israeli hostages every day in your prayers.
- Spend more time daily in God’s word. Memorize Zechariah 9:11-12, where God promises a double portion.
- Limit food as the Lord directs. Some will want to fast altogether, others will want to fast a meal a day, others may want to engage in a Daniel fast, including abstaining from various types of food.
- Fast media as the Lord directs. Hone in on hearing God’s voice!
- Fast strife and contention—or as Isaiah 58 puts it, “The pointing of the finger and the malicious talk.” Let me suggest adding Isaiah 58 to your daily readings. Where do you need to restrain your voice? Where do you need to speak up?
