Most all our Lamplighter family is familiar with Cindy Jacobs’ prophetic word about the X that transformed into a Bridal Canopy over our land. Dutch Sheets actually saw tent pegs going into the four corners of the nation, and a center pole of the bridal canopy being pegged into the center of the nation. To read more about this, click here.

We feel that in some way, Davids Tent is a signpost of this sacred work. Truly, the Lord is releasing the next phase of His restoration of the Tabernacle of David. The “harp and bowl” is being joined with the “crown and throne.”

Just as the Presence of God was cultivated in David’s back yard in the Capital city, so the Lord is now tabernacling with His people on the White House Ellipse. And, as you will see, from coast to coast.

Bridal Canopy Initiative 
On October 31, we have an opportunity to partner with God according to Cindy’s vision and governmentally release His Bridal Canopy in the land. God is inviting us to “Tent the Nation!”

October 31 is Reformation Day. Just as Martin Luther sparked a reformation by nailing his declaration to the doors of the church, so God is declaring a new reformation as we together drive in the tent pegs of His bridal canopy. All fifty states will literally be “covered!”

Cindy Jacobs and the Reformation Prayer Network invite you to connect with leaders and prayer warriors in your respective states for this initiative. Because God wants to “Tent the Nation!”

Tent the Nation Initiative
To give credit where credit is due, this clever phrase above belongs to Jason Hershey. Jason and I feel the Lord has unexpectedly given us an additional aspect of this same initiative. As we stake in the four corners, so God desires for us to stake in the Capital–the governmental center–of each state as well. We even feel an invitation from the Lord for each state to set up a tent and host a time of worship during this time!

Just as in the vision, by this combined effort we will cover both the four corners and the governmental “center” of each state. This is so key for our election time. Last year in every state Capital, we prayed through the divorcement of Baal and reset covenant with the Lord Jesus Christ. This year, lets cross the threshold and see His covenant established!

How the Word Came
Please note that the word on worshipping at each Capital came to Davids Tent only this past weekend. Three people separately heard the same thing from the Lord–at almost the same time. God wanted a tent of worship They approached Jason Hershey, and Jason dialogued with me.

Pegging the Capitals–in my spirit I felt an immediate witness! Yeah, the logistics seem daunting. But friends–together we can do this. There is no more vital time than NOW to give our all on Christ’s behalf!

Lord… Tabernacle with Us!
Lets just take a moment and dream with God. What will it look like when all 50 states peg in their four corners, peg their Capitals, and build Jesus a throne with our united worship? How will God’s heart be touched when we together, from DC and Capital to Capital, invite Him to establish His bridal canopy and tabernacle with us?

Married to the Lord–Isaiah 62. The X erased. That’s the moment we are living for, and the gift we want to give our King. From Washington to Washington, lets respond to His invitation!

Reclaiming Seats of Authority 
Finally, let me introduce to you “Reclaiming Seats of Authority,” an initiative being facilitated with Dr. John Benefiel and the HAPN in conjunction with “Tent the Nation.”

I feel we need to pray specifically for the seats of governmental authority–nationally and in each state Capital. Not talking candidates, but the seats themselves.

These seats have been established by covenant–in most cases, a constitution. Many have been compromised by sin and corruption. The cycle will continue until we take our God-given authority.

We encourage our Lamplighter family to engage in all facets of the Tent the Nation initiative. Jolene and I serve as mid-Atlantic leaders and state leaders of the RPN and HAPN.
