As we have traveled recently, the need for renewal among intercessors has never seemed greater–especially among those who have been focused on the nation.

It happened to me too. The evening of November 1 at Davids Tent, I had the honor of praying with Dutch Sheets and James Goll. The morning of November 2, I was flat on my back with a sudden sickness that came out of nowhere. A little kickback, I guess.

Then came the elections. We prayed so hard to see the nation shifted on a right course. It shifted… well lets just say it shifted left.

Your Prayers Propelled Us Forward
In my soul, I battled discouragement. But God restored His exuberance to my spirit at this very time! I kinda felt like one of the apostles… left for dead one moment, alive and advancing the next. I have no doubt that your prayers were propelling us forward.

We had some of our most significant ministry breakthroughs shortly thereafter. Literal signs and wonders on the Bridal Canopy tour. And in Oklahoma on 12-12-12, we experienced probably the strongest move of Holy Spirit in our lives.

We truly are in a season of breakthrough. In the natural, this might not make sense. But in the Spirit it is an emerging reality!

Personal Consecration
Just in case you’re wondering, personal consecration is at the core of what I am sharing. Your breakthrough begins when you refuse to tolerate the enemy’s confinement and vexation anymore. The enemy wants you to believe his lies, and remain frozen in place. Above all else, he doesn’t want you to rise up and access your incredible potential in the Lord!

It’s high time to recover your vision and advance. Tonight on the conference call, we’re going to start off by praying for you for breakthrough. Lets all consecrate ourselves towards this end. Please join us!

Micah 2:13 for 2013!
There is a resurgence of the breaker anointing–again, Micah 2:13 for 2013. Through this New Birth of Freedom project, we are partnering with the Lord in forerunning prayer for this reality.

“The breaker–the one who breaks open the way–will go up before them. They break out, pass through the gate and go out by it. So their King goes on before them, and the Lord at their head” (Micah 2:13)

The patter Micah saw and prophesied was actually experienced by Peter. As recorded in Acts 12, Herod stretched forth his hand to vex certain of the church. James was killed with a sword. At Passover, Herod tracked down Peter and imprisoned him.

How to Know Breakthrough has Occurred
Late one evening, Peter’s chains broke. His prison door opened of its own accord. An angel of the Lord, an angel of breakthrough, had shown up where no visitor was allowed. And Peter was escorted out of his confinement.

Would you believe–just as the gate to his prison opened, suddenly the gate to the city opened of its own accord! Peter did what any freed prisoner should do, he made his way to a prayer meeting. Those inside had been praying night and day for him.

How do you know when breakthrough has occurred–because it’s election day? Because it’s the 21st day of a fast? No. Breakthrough has occurred when the signs of breakthrough actually show up. Until then, KEEP PRAYING!

Fervent Prayer Births Great Breakthroughs
As this team at Mary’s house in Jerusalem prayed through, Peter’s chains fell off. The prison door opened. The city gate opened. Peter showed up. Signs of breakthrough! Tangible results! Don’t stop pursuing until you have them.

Shortly after, God rendered is verdict on Herod. This Throne Room judgment was executed by an angel, and Herod died. “But the word of the Lord continued to grow and be multiplied.”

Friends, maybe you were targeted by the enemy. Maybe a Herod spirit stretched out his hand for your vexation. Maybe you feel confined, and are desperate for the greater freedom you know is available in Christ.

Be free! Watch and pray these 21 days as your confinement gives way to an open gate. Watch how the miracles you knew were possible begin to break forth. Watch how your desperation is met with Christ’s power!

“Sing to the Lord, praise the Lord! For He has delivered the soul of the needy one from the hand of evildoers”–Jeremiah 20:13

Second, lets all continue to pray for a breakthrough of God’s justice regarding LIFE. Not sure what this looks like, but it feels like we are right now on a precipice of breakthrough. Matt Lockett of Bound for Life, Jason Hershey of WHOP, Jolene and myself all feel this stirring, and are working together and praying for this breakthrough. More on this as the project progresses.
