PRAYER CALL TONIGHT! Final day of Israel-Palestinian negotiations in DC. Conference call number: 805-399-1200 access code 552-690. Use *6 to mute/unmute. Invite your friends to join us!
With the Mideast peace negotiations continuing in Washington DC, what a “kairos” opportunity we have tonight to join together across the nation and pray!
Yesterday we shared James Goll’s sobering prophetic warning that “a line has been drawn in the sand.” The specific issues the Lord highlighted to James included a warning not to push for the dividing of Jerusalem, and a warning on the sanctity of marriage.
At first it seems these issues are completely separate. But at the core, both are covenant issues.
Covenants establish two things. First, they establish thrones of rulership, both in the spiritual realm and the natural realm. It’s worth noting that both God and the enemy both claim Jerusalem as the capital not just of the nation, but possibly of the world. My question—is our supernatural enemy seeking to establish a throne of rulership through the covenant of a Mideast peace accord?
Second, covenants establish boundaries that define how we actually fulfill them. Boundaries are not wrong, they are healthy, especially when we realize God is always out for the ultimate genuine blessing for mankind. Consequences always follow both the adherence to the covenant boundaries, and the violations of these boundaries. We generally call these consequences blessings and curses.
This is really helpful to gain understanding of God’s “line in the sand.” As a really effective Father, I believe the Lord is saying that He is making the boundary lines of His covenant really clear, and that the “line in the sand” is the very edge of what He will permit before bringing an increased measure of discipline.
So! Join us tonight, and lets pray covenantally and governmentally for God’s boundaries to be respected and adhered to. Lets seek the Lord to establish the covenant He swore to our forefathers. Lets follow the prophet’s admonition and pray first for mercy all around, in Jesus’ Name! Looking forward to praying with you tonight.
Praying Ps. 91 for you both. You were such a blessing Sat. Nancy and Mike
