We mentioned in yesterday’s posting that many have entered a season of repositioning. On this first full day of Rosh Hashanah, Attorney General Eric Holder announced he is stepping down as head of the Department of Justice under President Obama. Our first black Attorney General led the DOJ through a historic yet often tumultuous era, presiding over controversial decisions regarding the 911 terrorist trials, alleged IRS discrepancies, same sex marriage, Benghazi, etc.
Most recently, Attorney General Holder served as President Obama’s emissary to Ferguson MO after the tragic shooting of Michael Brown and the protests that ensued.
Attorney General Holder’s resignation inevitably marks a significant shift in the Justice Department. Please pray for him and his family. Lamplighter Ministries wishes Eric Holder all the best in his future pursuits!
Remember that the thrones of this nation ultimately belong to Jesus Christ by covenant. With this at heart, pray for the right person—God’s choice—to lead as Eric Holder’s successor! PRAY NOW, PLEASE.
10 Days of Justice Prayer
Again, please pay attention to the fact that the “head of the year” started with a shift in national justice. This is very important prophetically, remembering that Rosh Hashanah marks a ten-day window to access Heaven’s court and receive His justice.
According to Hebraic tradition, God renders judgment over each human being over Rosh Hashanah. This judgment sets the course for the new year. During the 10 days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, God grants unusual access to approach His Throne and receive His justice. You can seek His forgiveness for past sins and ask for a better verdict for your future!
Also, I neglected to mention yesterday that the 21 day USRPN Stop Corruption initiative culminated yesterday as Rosh Hashanah began. Thanks to all who participated regionally and nationally.
Remember also how we felt that Davids Tent this year would again mark a significant shift in the Tabernacle of David movement nationwide. God is progressively restoring His Tabernacle, according to Amos 9:11. And we felt this year would mark a shift into a new season of releasing justice.
From Isaiah 16:5—“A throne will even be established in lovingkindness, and a judge will sit on it in faithfulness in the tent of David; moreover, he will seek justice and be prompt in righteousness.”
Warrior Mantle: Jesus Judges and Makes War
You might ask what this justice shift has to do with the “warrior mantle” we felt God was releasing this Rosh Hashanah. Remember that Jesus judges and makes war!(Revelation 19:11). In other words, He first renders a verdict, and then releases His army to enforce the verdict He has rendered.
This is so vital to understand. From a Kingdom perspective, warfare in the spiritual and natural realms must proceed as a catalyst of God’s justice and judgment for victory to be obtained. It’s not a coincidence that the Lord has called us to focus on receiving His verdicts of justice over the previous years. Ever since, the Lord has been shaking things, even releasing the armies of heaven and earth, to enforce many of these verdicts. Jesus judges, and makes war!
Vision—Apostle Mario Bramnick
Let me end by sharing a startling vision Apostle Mario Bramnick received as news broke of today’s shift in national justice. He saw a very solid wall. Waves upon waves were hitting this wall on one side until a small flow of water broke through.
As Apostle Bramnick saw this, he felt like Rosh Hashanah marks a new season of breakthrough and transformation in our national governance. As David exclaimed, “God has broken through… like the breakthrough of many waters” (1 Chron 14:11).
