DEAR STATE OF THE UNION INTERCESSORS,
TODAY WE ARE BLESSING YOU WITH A DOUBLE PORTION! I hope you enjoyed today’s message on the Iran, Purim and the Turnaround Verdict. Tonight marks President Trump’s State of the Union address, and I felt to share with you two key dreams I received this week in Houston that convey key aspects of the “state of Trump,” as well as the “state of the union.”
Bull Dream Last Night! And It’s Good News
Lets start with the state of the union. Early Saturday morning, on 2-22, the Lord gave me a dream in which I encountered a bull. Most of the time I don’t like bulls. But in this dream the bull was not evil. And it occurred to me that one of the “living creatures” before God’s Throne is pictured as a bull or an ox.
That said, whether good or evil in my dreams, bulls always capture my immediate attention.
I was walking down a street made of what appeared to be Jerusalem stones—the same color as Jerusalem stones anyway. Sidewalks were on either side of the street, with walls beside them. Four-foot walls were on either side of the sidewalks, setting both the street and the sidewalks apart from the rest of the landscape. Over the street and walkways there was a bridge or a tunnel which took the form of an arch.
Walking towards the tunnel, I saw a bull coming towards me at a determined pace. I didn’t want to show fear, so I just kept walking towards it. The bull and I were poised to intersect somewhere near the entrance of the tunnel, and I decided was safer on the outside than the inside. But not by much. No room to run!
And so I stopped. The bull looked friendly enough. In other words no evil seemed to be coming from it. Maybe it even seemed kind.
Should I reach out and pet the bull? The animal lover in me said yes. But the practical side of me did not want to be thrown against a wall, so I decided not to test its temperament. I just stood aside and let the bull pass.
Then I woke up. Praying about the dream, I sense the Lord conveying a couple of things. First is a “state of the union” assessment. A bull market is on its way! This is good news. Though the fact of the matter is, I really don’t know how to interact with the bull market for it’s benefit or mine. Definitely room for growth here.
Secondly, I also felt the bull could represent President Trump. His public persona is kind of bullish—and that’s a benefit. In some ways the corridor reminded me of the walkway through the House of Representatives taken by Presidents for the State of the Union Address.
Trump Dream—Helicopters on Patrol
And this, friends, brings me to my second dream, which I received just this morning. The dream conveyed President Trump as tired to the bone. He was skinny. It was Sunday, and he had traveled from the White House to the southwest—exactly where I do not know—in response to some crisis.
In the dream I was standing outside a gas station on a vast open field. Swarms of helicopters were in the air, both military and civilian, searching for something important. They were on patrol. Three or four helicopters at a time would land near the pumps of this gas station to refuel before taking off again. Sagebrush was flying everywhere as the rotors stirred the air.
President Trump was hidden from public view, but I knew where to find him. In the back of the gas station there was a restaurant with a kitchen. It was closed. And a very skinny President Trump was all alone in the kitchen, taking a break from the national crisis by making some burgers.
“Medium rare please!” I joked, and he smiled. We engaged in small talk. It was like he just wanted to take some time away and get his mind off things.
Then some people discovered where Trump was, and came rushing in. Trump‘s eyes got wide and he said he had to go to bed. So I walked with him to a back area where there was like an oversized motor coach. And I said to him, “Thank you for working so hard, sir. You do more in a day than most presidents do in their entire term.”
Because of the noise of the helicopters, President Trump couldn’t hear me too well so he asked me to repeat what I said. And I just reiterated, Thank you for working so hard Mr. President, you do more in a day than most presidents do their entire term.”
In the dream Trump smiled back and said “Well, I didn’t do anything today. I took the day off!” I replied back that he deserve to. And he smiled and went inside.
Note I wasn’t trying to disturb the President’s solitude. I accompanied him primarily because there were no Secret Service agents around to protect him. Or if they were there, they sure weren’t visible. I stayed after just to watch to make sure nobody followed us. Then I woke up.
One more portion. When I saw the helicopters in the dream, I wanted to pilot one myself, because the pilots already in the air were more focused on trying to take the lead than actually accomplishing their mission. So the job of actually patrolling was not getting done.
One of the Coast Guard helicopters landed, and I went over to greet the pilot. I had been up in the air with him just the day before. He looked like a refined cartel guy or actually maybe a terrorist. Although I greeted him warmly, privately I was concerned about his allegiances. Then I woke up.
What does the dream mean? President Trump is likely more tired than he may realize. Lets keep him in prayer. The dream makes me wonder if there are more border crises ahead. The dream suggests that those leading the first responders need to realign priorities for their coming missions.
