FIRST—THANK YOU FOR ENGAGING in the Watch of the Breaker prayer project. As we move through our second week you might notice the priorities of God’s process in His dealings with you. “Blow the trumpet in Zion!” (Joel 2). The shofar sounds. Your race begins. The warfare intensifies. Challenges become almost insurmountable. Weakness becomes exposed. And in the midst He moves to help us all “rend our hearts and not our garments” (Joel 2).
Sometimes people miss this part of the process.Let the wrestling strengthen your resolve to press in to Him more. Seek forgiveness where you have fallen short. And remember, at this point your life is intercession, not just the words of your mouth. Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord!
Spirit of Elijah—Apostolic Fathering
“YOU HAVE MANY TEACHERS, BUT NOT MANY FATHERS.” A recent conversation with Apostle John Benefiel broke open a realm of revelation that has continued to this day. It’s going to happen to you too, as you join us for this week’s Turnaround Tuesday!
So glad you are taking ever Tuesday to contend in fasting and prayer for a turnaround for your sons and daughters. If you’ve followed our broadcasts and postings, you know we’ve been focused like a laser on the Spirit of Elijah for almost a year now. According to the Word, turning the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the children to the fathers is a primary foundation for preparing the way of the Lord. Which makes this movement of apostolic fathering much greater in importance than what has been broadly perceived.
It turns out the Lord is encountering Apostle John through His “Spirit of Elijah” movement as well—in an extreme, holy way. Apostolic fathering that frees sons and daughters from generational bondage to encounter Jesus and take the land. The mechanics are quite exciting. But as with all of us, what is most profound is how the Lord is moving upon hearts. Your heart will open as you hear how the Lord is moving.
Note that Apostle John is already renown nationally and globally as an apostolic father—to his church, to the HAPN network, to hundreds of leaders around the globe, and even to the United States as a nation. Of course, his and his wife Judith’s first priority is being an incredible influence to their children and their grandchildren. On a personal level, Apostle John has been a spiritual father to Jolene and me for fourteen years now.
All that to say the man is a longtime pioneer of apostolic fathering. But now a fresh wind of Holy Spirit is now blowing on the very grace that has so uniquely defined his life over the years. Fresh encounters. Fresh revelation. And an impartation that is tangible.

A Full Circle Moment
Israel especially is at a point of dire crisis right now. America’s crisis is more covert, but also very real. In the midst of the swirls of warfare over these nations, it is this Spirit of Elijah movement that will prevail.
Note we as a Turnaround Tuesday family are in a full circle moment with the Lord. It was around 7-22 one year ago that the Lord gave me a vision of a mantle beside the Jordan River that He wanted us to pick up. We were directed to journey onsite to Israel in December to pick up the mantle. As we engaged in this profound prophetic act, we knew the Spirit of Elijah was being released at a higher level across the earth.
As you know, this prophetic action led to a strong season of contending prayer, followed by the Spirit of Elijah Tour in April that has changed our lives forever.
And from this tour came the trumpet sound that brought us all to our knees through these 21 days of the “Watch of the Breaker” prayer project. We are contending for breakthrough for our sons and daughters. We are contending for a breakthrough against the forces of darkness seeking to empower Iran with nuclear capacities designed to strike Israel and America. And we are praying for the continuance of freedom in both nations.
And for the third time in 8 months, we are actually returning to Israel for the Jerusalem Turnaround on 7-22, literally within a year to the day when the vision was first granted. Full circle, higher level. With a promise of breakthrough from the Lord that is no more needed than now.
And again—it goes without saying—this “Spirit of Elijah movement” is at the very core.
