THIS TURNAROUND TUESDAY… LIVE FROM INDEPENDENCE HALL! We are so excited that our “Turn the Storm Tour” will be finishing in this great city. Join us for a special broadcast on the very ground where America made a break from abusive monarchies and set a new course of freedom for America and the world.
As our friend Jamie Fitt constantly reminds us, the Key of David was entrusted to the church of Philadelphia (Revelation 3). In the Old Testament, a person who embodied the qualities necessary to steward his seat of power on behalf of we the people was granted this key of access and authority. His name was Eliakim.
ELIAKIM WAS A GOOD FATHER. AND SCRIPTURALLY, that was the only clear qualification God gave to set in place Eliakim as a leader, and depose a wicked leader who continually violated those entrusted to his leadership.
Isaiah 22 bears witness that this wicked leader Shebna was building a monument to himself when God brought him down.
The turnarounds God is bringing to our families, our nation and world are absolutely dependent on setting in place genuine fathers and mothers whose passion is to see their children thrive. And in this new season, many leaders who have abused their privilege of power, who continue to defy the Lord and exploit those entrusted to their care, are coming down.
“Therefore on that day the Lord God of armies called you to weeping, to wailing, to shaving the head, and to wearing sackcloth, instead, there is joy and jubilation, killing of cattle and slaughtering of sheep, eating of meat and drinking of wine:
“Let’s eat and drink, for tomorrow we may die.”
“But the Lord of armies revealed Himself to me: “Certainly this wrongdoing will not be forgiven you until you die,” says the Lord God of armies.” (Isaiah 22:12-14).
One of the key words the Lord has given us over the tour is that an era which became globally defined through the 9-11 terror strikes is actually coming to a close. As of Fall 2022, a new era begins.
During our Virginia Beach meeting Chris Mitchell prophesied that this new era is marked by the birthing of God’s “Eliakim movement.” A fathering and mothering movement, restoring protection, provision and mentoring in godly virtues which cause our children to flourish. And in process we will see the Lord Himself arise to bring down self-serving leaders who ultimately abuse power for their own gain, and the gain of their families at the expense of the community.
We have already seen this Eliakim shift with the “parental revolution” in Northern Virginia. But it is only going to grow in influence. Coming soon to a city near you!
