DEAR THRESHOLD WATCHMEN,
HE IS RISEN! He is risen indeed. And as we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection, remember that today also marks the anniversary of the evaluation, approval and sealing of His blood covenant in the sacred chambers of Heaven’s Court. You stood guilty on all counts. But Jesus took the punishment for your crimes and mine. His own body and blood were presented as evidence for your redemption. Your sins have been atoned for. Judgement has been forever rendered in your favor—in favor of the saints!
“I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming. And He came up to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him. And to Him was given dominion, Glory and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations and men of every language might serve Him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion which will not pass away; and His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed” (Daniel 7:13-14).
Special Call Tonight!
Tonight on Resurrection evening we are being summoned by the Lord to embrace this blood covenant and enter into a barely-perceived aspect of the blessing it has secured. We will stand on behalf of Washington DC, on behalf of the nation, on behalf of each respective state, on behalf of your families, your churches, and your respective spheres of authority. And in the tradition of Passover, we together will welcome Jesus Christ across the thresholds.
In a moment this will all become very clear. But let me first emphasize to you the importance of tonight’s call. I am asking God for a covenantal representation from all 50 states. As we saw yesterday, it is imperative over Passover that we respond to His invitations. So lets join together and ask the Lord to establish a new way forward for our nation. And just as with the first Passover, as of Passover 2019 THIS FREEDOM MOVEMENT IS NOW BEING RELEASED. Tonight.
Blood Moon to Passover—Jan. 21 to April 21!
The prophetic journey towards our vigil tonight is simply astounding. This past Hanukkah, over the 77th anniversary of our entry into World War II, a freedom movement was commissioned as commanded by the Lord. Unexpectedly, our Revolution gathering was hosted by the Trump International Hotel.
Then around Christmas, the Lord began to highlight January 21 to us. We discovered that on January 21, at precisely 12:12 am a blood moon was going to appear over Washington DC as a sign to us. Amazingly it marked the third anniversary of Donald Trump’s inauguration. “In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, a message was revealed” (Daniel 10).
Prophets and intercessors immediately flooded our inbox with clear directives. “The 12:12 blood moon points to Exodus 12:12. Passover!”
Talk about a Midnight Cry. God came into Egypt at midnight on the first Passover—according to Exodus 12:12, TO EXECUTE HIS JUDGEMENTS against the gods of Egypt and the government of Egypt. We had a sense then that the Lord was highlighting something significant for Passover 2019. And we have watched and prayed continually til now because of this.
Passover—The Threshold Covenant
At midnight on January 21 we entered the threshold by applying the blood of Jesus over our nation and spheres. Tonight I want to re-enter into this same covenant, but with a very distinct purpose.
Since we were kids, most of us have wrongly learned one of the most important aspects of Passover. That the blood was applied to protect homes and families from the Lord as He entered the land. Our expectations have therefore been defined to apply the blood as a barrier to distance ourselves from God!
Actually the truth is quite the opposite. The Jews were invited to enter into a “threshold covenant” at Passover not to distance themselves from Him, but to see His presence protect them!Through the body and blood of the lamb, the manifest presence of God was actually welcomed across the thresholds of their homes—to protect them from the destroyer!
This is the power of the Threshold covenant. And it’s exactly this aspect of God’s covenant we are being compelled by the Lord to embrace. To welcome Him across our thresholds over Passover!
My friend Lori Perz spoke to me about this a month ago. She recommended a book called “The Threshold Covenant” by Clay Trumbull. Published in 1896, the book first covers vast and extensive research compiled over decades, recording the ancient mideast rituals of threshold covenants. Archeological finds prove that these rituals were commonplace long before the Jews were freed from Egypt. In other words, it was already customary, familiar language. Bridegrooms and brides established threshold covenants, complete with blood applied to the doorposts of their homes. Sovereigns were welcomed into homes and dwellings with sacrifices made at the gateways of their hosts, with blood applied on the doorposts. Covenants at the gate likewise welcomed foreign gods through the thresholds into their temples.
“In dealing with his chosen people, God did not invent a new rite or ceremonial at every stage of his progressive revelation to them,” Trumball writes. “But he took a rite with which they were already familiar, and gave to it a new and deeper significance in its new use and relations.”
“Long before that day, a covenant welcome was given to a guest who was to become as one of the family, or to a bride or bridegroom in marriage, by the outpouring of blood on the threshold of the door, and by staining the doorway itself with the blood of the covenant. And now Jehovah announced that he was to visit Egypt on a designated night, and that those who would welcome him should prepare a threshold covenant, or a pass-over sacrifice, as a proof of that welcome; for where no such welcome was made ready for him by a family, he must count the household as his enemy” (The Threshold Covenant, Trumball, p. 170, Kindle version).
Astonishing. I hope you take this to heart. Tonight lets welcome the Lord across our thresholds with His own Threshold Covenant, the body and blood of the Lamb! He is coming to dwell with us. His covering will be your protection. And as we establish His Threshold Covenant, He will lead us on His freedom journey! Inheritance will be secured, destiny realized. And every other threshold we encounter will bow. NO KING BUT JESUS…
