DEAR CLEANSING AGENTS,
“Woe is me, for I am undone! I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips. For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts”—Isaiah 6:5
THIS BAPTISM REVIVAL HAS COME JUST IN TIME. Over the next few days, Congress will serve as a confessional, and the swampy chambers of the House a makeshift mikvah, or baptism pool, for former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen.
Word to the wise. The waters oozing from this congressional confessional are guaranteed to be toxic. Few leading the hearings have gained the moral authority to absolve sins. Instead their own corruption ensures that only defiled waters will flow to the people of America.
Our lips are unclean. And we dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips.
Our friend Jamie Jackson experienced this reality. While in Washington DC during Revolution this Hanukkah, the Lord brought Jamie into a dramatic dream where he encountered the Washington DC swamp. Just as Ezekiel was shown the idolatry of Jerusalem, Jamie was shown every form of corruption and defilement going on in our nation’s Capitol. Both sides of the aisle, and then some. Jamie awoke terrified from the dream, and in his own words literally ran into a shower to find cleansing.
A Midnight Mikvah.
Not a coincidence a “Mikvah Revival” has now broken out at Jamie and Redonnia’s church. Bringing healing, cleansing and a re-consitution of God’s covenant purposes from the Reconstitution State. From swamp to mikvah!
From Swamp to Mikvah
By direction from the Spirit of God, Jolene and I vacated the DC swamp this week to experience this “Mikvah Revival” from its inception. As we shared last Wednesday, I had received a word about a “Baptism Revival” a few years ago while ministering at Remnant Church. I saw a baptism of deliverance and deliverance in baptism as the river of God flowed.
Some of you might not know what a mikvah actually is. A mikvah in the Jewish faith is a bath used for cleansing before approaching the Lord. In other words, a baptismal or baptism pool.
John the Baptist prepared the way for Jesus by bringing the people of his day into a mikvah experience. In his day, the waters of the Jordan became the cleansing pool to prepare the bride for the Bridegroom.
In this hour a mikvah has again been opened to prepare the bride for the Bridegroom. And as America awakens to the dire need for cleansing, the response has been incredible.
The Midnight Mikvah
A text came in from Jamie and Redonnia Jackson Saturday morning. “We just left the church. Baptized the last one at 9:30 am.”
It’s not like they started at 8am, or even 7am. Along with another pastor from the area, Jamie and Redonnia baptized for 15 hours— straight through the night. More than 250 people were immersed. They came from everywhere because they heard how God was meeting His people in the water. Cleansing, healing, fresh filling by Holy Spirit. When we left at midnight, Jamie and Redonnia were just getting started.
And that was after baptizing 12 hours straight through the night on Thursday.
The revival was being guided—gently—by Pastor Todd Smith of Dawsonville, GA. Pastor Todd has been experiencing these same results for more than a year. The nations of the earth now wait for hours for the immersion which is bringing life and revitalization.
Sunday morning Jamie and Redonnia were planning on taking a break. In the midst of testimonies and a message on the revival, the Holy Spirit spoke to uncap the well again. Nobody was prepared—least of all the folks who were baptized. Amazing how much water is retained by slacks and blue jeans!
But the hunger was so strong. The Lord met each person with deep and genuine conviction, cleansing and healing. Their service didn’t finish til 4pm, yet it seemed like only a moment had passed.
It’s Now Time
You might remember the prophetic word Jamie Jackson gave us in Brunswick two months ago, which ushered us into 2019. “It’s time!” Jamie even gave me a new watch to emphasize his point.
Good thing it’s waterproof. It’s amazing how we’ve already come full circle.
Just a few weeks ago, Jolene prophesied in Minnesota how the Lord has saved the best wine for last. Because it’s time! Remember how Jesus’ mother Mary, or Miriam, approached Jesus during the wedding at Cana. Could you provide wine for the wedding? The guest has run out.
Jesus initially denied her request. “My time has not yet come,” he told her. But after a pause, he commanded the disciples to bring Him ritual waterpots to fill the mikvah, or baptismal. And he turned the water into wine. Best wine for last!
BECAUSE IT’S TIME.
Pray for a baptism of holy conviction to sweep over America. Pray God’s cleansing and re-constitution for all. A Midnight Mikvah. Looking forward to tonight’s call.
“In that day … I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and supplication, so they will look on Me whom they have pierced… In that day a fountain will be opened for the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and impurity… I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they will never again be remembered” (Zechariah 13:1).
