DEAR FIREBRANDS,
ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS WERE TESTED THIS SUNDAY as we visited Remnant Church in Brunswick GA, pastored by Jamie and Redonnia Jackson. They will be hosting the annual Revolution conference once again Dec. 28-31. And before returning to DC we felt we needed to make sure Holy Spirit was still present there, and still moving as we have described to you all. 

If you’ve ever been to Remnant you know we’re just kidding. Worship often makes your hair stand on end—in a good way. Prophetic expressions flow like a bursting river. Seems like Holy Spirit is always on the move there.

And hypothetically, even if Holy Spirit decided not to move in a particular service, Jamie is always on the move. Don’t know what I’m talking about? Just watch his messages.

Get It While it’s Hot!
But all that said—all of the sudden during worship I began to see fireballs from Heaven plummeting to the earth. Flaming coals like Isaiah experienced in Isaiah 6. And I heard the Lord roaring, “Get it while it’s hot! Eat it while it’s hot!” 

At Jamie’s invitation I shared the prophetic experience as the Lord conveyed. And suddenly I was also on the move. If you know me, that might be considered somewhat of out of character. Well… actually not really. 

The Coals were Scrolls
As I continued to watch, I saw that the burning coals were actually burning scrolls of revelation from Christ’s heart, from His Throne. It was as though the scrolls wrapped the coals. Some scrolls were revelatory understandings from His Word. Some were  personal directives, directions and course corrections. Some were love letters. I saw how we needed to consume these scrolls immediately, while the Heaven’s fire was still blazing. By this our hearts not only gained His word, but also the anointing of holy fire that originally accompanied each message. 

Always remember this. Revelation from the Lord is designed to expand on impact! Sometimes over years.

The Neglected Coals Soon Became Ashes
Sadly many of the fiery coals actually fell to the ground and were primarily ashes by the time the recipients picked them up. Most of each message had already been burned up. Kind of like the manna that melted when neglected. 

Interpretation? The Lord wants you to receive immediately the revelatory word He is issuing to you. Eat it while it’s hot! He wants you to take great care to consume the word, to rehearse and internalize it and make it your own. 

Don’t procrastinate. Don’t neglect the sacred fire that is being entrusted to you. Haven’t you prayed for His word to “run swiftly and be glorified?” (2 Thess. 3:1). Make room to receive the answers to your prayers when they come. Be intentional. Make time. Then consume the word and you will catch fire.
