9:11. ISRAEL IS GOD’S TIME CLOCK. Which makes it significant that a blood moon will reach its full eclipse at exactly 9:11pm when the orange glow appears over Jerusalem this coming Sunday evening.
The blood moon will not be visible in North America. But biblically, it’s the appearance of a blood moon over Jerusalem, not Washington DC or London or Taiwan, that serves as a time clock of God’s end time drama.
“Blow a trumpet in Zion, sound the alarm on My holy mountain. Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the Day of the Lord is coming… The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes” (Joel 2:1, 31).
End Times in Real Time? Like, For Real?
The prophet Joel makes clear the Day of the Lord is coming. End times in real time? Maybe. I am remembering Jolene’s vision at Tel Megiddo where she saw a grandfather clock hovering over the valley below. The time was set at exactly 10 minutes to midnight.
Remember also the word the Lord gave me that Donald Trump’s inauguration marks the inauguration of a new era, an acceleration into the end times. So far it seems very accurate.
Alarming Headlines
Are alarming headlines sounding an alarm on this clock? Because today’s headlines by no means contradict the notion. Again, this is just today:
ISRAEL WILL DESTROY GAZA CITY UNLESS HAMAS SURRENDERS. This was announced today. More than 60,000 reservists for the IDF are being called up for duty.
TRUMP DEMANDS HAMAS IMMEDIATELY RELEASE ALL HOSTAGES. “If they do, it (the war) will end,” he wrote on Truth Social.
A PALESTINIAN STATE IS BEING DEMANDED by France, England and other European nations. They are moving quickly with plans to officially recognize a Palestinian State.
ISRAELI LEADERS RESPONDED by threatening to eliminate the prospect of a Palestinian State by annexing 82% of Judea and Samaria. The UAE and other nations have warned they will withdraw from the Abraham Accords if this transpires.
PUTIN RELEASES 500 KILLER DRONES AGAINST UKRAINE in biggest air raid of the war. Prospects of peace pushed by President Trump have been literally blown apart, even as Putin meets with China’s President Xi and North Korea’s Kim for a strategic summit Trump says is directly targeting the United States for war.
Could Gaza War Spark 9-11 Style Terror in US?
As we mentioned in yesterday’s post, “An astonishing article appeared in the Jerusalem Post which may give us a clue. The headline read: US Republicans fear Gaza crisis could spark 9/11-style attack on US soil…
According to a senior congressional aide: “Eliminating Hamas serves American interests, but continued support for Israel risks making American citizens targets of reprisal attacks by Hamas and its allies. Ultimately, we don’t want to see another 9/11.”
Could we have another attack on our homeland, patterned after 9-11 or October 7? Or even Pearl Harbor? Security experts are warning it’s just a matter of time.
Our Call to Watch, Pray, and Repent
Now for some encouraging news. Right in the middle of the Joel 2 warning, the Lord issues a dramatic invitation. This one is absolutely for our moment of history, right down to the month, the day and the hour. Because the month of Elul brings a unique Hebraic focus on teshuvah or repentance before the Days of Awe begin. This is really our call!
“Yet even now,” declares the Lord,
“Return to Me with all your heart,
And with fasting, weeping, and mourning;and tear your heart and not merely your garments.”
Now return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and compassionate,
Slow to anger, abounding in mercy
And relenting of catastrophe.
Who knows, He might turn and relent,
And leave a blessing behind Him… (Joel 2:12-14).
