In response to warnings conveyed by the Lord to both Gary Beaton and to Jolene and me, a small team of intercessors engaged in a literal “midnight ride” last night. Most of you know that many of the warnings conveyed a potential threat to our homeland today. And we felt that we needed to get ahead of the curve in prayer, covering Labor Day from midnight on.
Lamplighter family, we are deeply grateful for your immediate and sustained response. More than 120 people joined the call at the last minute. You took time out of a busy weekend usually dedicated to family, friends and pool time. After we shared, many of you actually stayed engaged in prayer through midnight!
Thanks for praying for us. Following the counsel of Gary and others, our team prayed onsite by the White House. Declaring the verdict we all received together regarding the Oslo Accords and the Iranian Nuclear Accords. Covenant with death and Sheol annulled! (Isaiah 28). We spent more than an hour in prayer onsite, immersed in a clear flow of Throne Room revelation. We felt your prayer covering through our entire journey.
Then in a most unexpected and personal way, God sent out to us a very clear signal during our midnight ride. Not one if by land, two if by sea, but something even better.
Sign! Storm Beacon
When Jolene and I finally got into bed last night, it was exactly 1:43 am. For me, that’s actually love language from God. Based on the beacon of a lighthouse out in Scituate MA. You know how Paul Revere waited for two lanterns in the upper room of Old North Church. This lighthouse also gave very strategic signals to those who were watching.
According to legend, young lovers, including my mom and dad way back in the day, would venture to this lighthouse to see the beacon. The beacon flashed rhythmically—one signal, then four signals, then three signals. The very beacon would convey the words their overwhelmed hearts were often too timid to say. I—first flash. Then L-O-V-E. Y-O-U.
Now that’s a storm beacon worth seeing! Especially in this hour.
Secret Intel—the Love Code
Anyway, as a young toddler my parents let me in on this secret code. And from then on, the beacon would flash again through our family—via our secret hand signals. Across the table at a restaurant, or in the midst of picnics and ballgames and other activities where a young man wouldn’t necessarily want to openly convey parental affection, a secret code would be sent instead. 1-4-3.
You all have journeyed with us this summer through extraordinary waters. Taking to heart the warning dream I received the day before the Iranian nuclear accords were announced. Storm warning. Wave on its way. Able to even breach our highest walls of defense. And it seems that our actions as a nation will determine how this wave affects us.
But in the midst of these challenges, a storm beacon is flashing clearly to guide us all through potential challenges. It’s flashing forth the very heart of God. I love you. I want what’s best for you. You can trust Me to see you through.
Further, I do feel God’s pleasure in the simple acts of devotion and prayer we together engaged in last night. I do feel we hit the taproot of this current crisis with the Iranian nuclear accords. Onsite in prayer, our team all felt a sense of completion—judgement rendered in favor of the saints.
Keep Watch
And your covering in prayer has made all the difference. Lets continue to keep watch through the day and through the week, ok? Declaring God’s judgement in favor of the saints—Daniel 7:22. Declaring that the scepter of the wicked must be rescinded from the land allotted to the righteous—Psalm 125:3. Declaring Christ’s “storm beacon” shines with great clarity to our leaders—all of them. Praying continued protection and clarity for our military, intelligence, and law enforcement communities. Praying that all potential terrorist strikes be exposed and foiled before hitting our homeland in any way.

Thanks for sharing this with me! Had asked the Lord how to pray over this disturbing group of events. After praying the scripture verses you recommended, my heart was warmed by His Presence. Have tried to share the need to continue trusting Him in hard times with other believers, have sesed a resistance I do not understand.
