BOOK EXCERPT—PAUL REVERE’S RIDE
From End Times in Real Time
Chapter 2 “Two Burning Lamps” Pg. 38
Just before midnight on April 18, 1775, Paul Revere spotted two burning lamps in the upper room of the Old North Church. The lamps conveyed a covert signal that the British army was invading by sea. Revere mounted his horse and began his legendary midnight ride, awakening citizen soldiers to engage in a war for America’s freedom. Against all odds they prevailed. The year of release for “End Times in Real Time” marks the 250th anniversary of Revere’s ride.
The next day in Lexington, as the first battle lines were formed, a British envoy was sent to negotiate peace. The only non-negotiable aspect was for the 13 colonies to remain under the monarchy’s sovereignty. A now legendary reply of the patriots said it all. “Sir, we will have no Sovereign but God, and no King but Jesus.”
No King but Jesus! With those words, thousands of years of global dominance by bloodline monarchies simply began to crumble. A new, forerunning expression of representational governance under God was soon birthed—with government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
Maybe it’s not a coincidence that Revere’s midnight ride occurred in the middle of the Jewish feast of Passover. It was as though the Lord declared once again to the earth, “Let My people go.”
That said, it’s time once again to hold out the burning lamp and prepare the way for God’s freedom movement…
