DEAR FRIENDS,
THE SOARING EAGLES HAVE LAUNCHED!Many of us are still charging up our wings, but as of last Thursday the project itself is soaring in the wind. And early Thursday morning—launch day—the Lord gave me one of the most dramatic, enigmatic dreams I have ever had. 

I wish it was about America’s favorite bird of pray. Instead I found myself in a vast, crowded field, lost and found at a Jewish wedding. 

God’s interpretation from the dream imparted to me great clarity and purpose for the season we are in. Including the vital importance of yesterday’s shift into the Hebraic month of Elul. THE KING IS IN THE FIELD! Jesus is present in a tangible way. And that really means something this year, far more than previous years.

DREAM—LOST AND FOUND AT A JEWISH WEDDING!
In the dream I wandered through a setup for a massive Jewish wedding in a massive field. At first it seemed I was seeing the wedding from beginning to end. But I realize now that I only saw the preparations. 

These preparations, from setting up the bridal canopy to setting the table for the marriage supper of the Lamb, represent the unfolding of a glorious crescendo of the end times. It all culminates with a glorious wedding—followed by a wedding feast! Preparations in the dream show us we are well on the way towards this defining moment. 

But we’re not quite there—yet. 

Prepare the Way—But How?
In prayer I saw how the preparations represent the calling to prepare the way of the Lord. You and I have been hand-selected for this time, this place, and this devotion of service. Now it’s time to discover, embrace and fulfill our new roles. 

And that was the quagmire of my dream.Among the thousands who had converged, it seemed everyone knew me and welcomed me. But nobody could answer what role I was to play, how I was to lead, who I was to report to, or where I was to be seated. Many knew their roles. But they did not know mine. Maybe you can relate?

Capturing the Moment
My first instinct was to assume the role of wedding photographer. That’s often been my way of serving in the past. Before stepping into full-time ministry had I won many awards for captured moments. Photography actually became part of my training in the prophetic ministry, and in my dreams it still represents the prophetic. 

Suddenly I came upon a huge contingency of video and still photographers, chattering in what looked to be a press box. Their cameras were on tripods, pointed towards the altar. They were all dressed in tuxedoes, waiting for the wedding to start. Which is a miracle in itself, because most photographers are defiantly casual in their dress.

These photographers were providing more than enough coverage. Not that my own captured moments were unwelcome. An illuminated camera around my neck, given to me for the wedding, made that clear. But it wasn’t my primary role. 

Was I supposed to officiate? Or maybe I was simply a guest? What was my responsibility?

Providing the Bridal Canopy
I walked over to the altar, a Jewish “hupa” or bridal canopy, as this centerpiece was being constructed. Jewish couples come into covenant under the makeshift tent, symbolizing how God is tabernacling with them as they unite with each other. 

To my amazement the wedding party was missing the actual bridal canopy! I offered my own—the two tallits picked up by the Jordan River in December 2022, which remain with me wherever we go. As most of you know they represent God’s covenant and covering. The Spirit and power of Elijah. The double portion. 

Many covenant renewals have already taken place under these tallits, and multitudes have received impartations of Holy Spirit while passing through. 

“YOU have a bridal canopy?” An older man with a black hat, glasses, graying hair and a long beard stared at me incredulously. I pulled my two tallits out, and discovered they had somehow merged into one large canopy. A beautiful tapestry with a Jerusalem cityscape which had somehow been woven into the cloth! 

“This will work perfectly,” he said, attempting to hide his amazement.

Appetizers for the Wedding Feast
Another scene I remember was waiters streaming out from the kitchen with incredible dishes that were being served as appetizers for the marriage feast. Strangely enough the dishes were all eggplant! I had no idea why until yesterday. I learned that to the Jews the eggplant was a symbol of preservation. Of their very survival. 

My feet continued to wander. I woke up puzzled and praying. 

Where are You Lord?
In the dream, not only was my personal directive elusive, but Jesus Himself was elusive. The Master of the wedding was the one I was looking for, because only He could give me clarity on the duties He intended for me to fulfill. YET HE WAS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. Where are you Lord?

Many of you have asked this same question recently. Especially in your prayer times. The fact is that our habitual way of doing things is being shaken. In many respects the Lord Himself has been purposefully elusive.

Wait on the Lord. FIND HIM. Let Jesus renew your strength. Then you will discern your both your opportunities and assigned responsibilities in this new season. You will MOUNT UP with wings as eagles. You will finish your course.

Here’s some good news for you. As of Monday we shifted into the Hebrew month of Elul. WHEN THE KING IS IN THE FIELD! We are moving into a vital new season where many will begin to find the One whom our souls love. It’s the appointed time.  

Your Double Portion is in the Field!
Final point. In the dream my contribution to the wedding was the only thing that conveyed my true calling. That was and is the double-portion mantle. The mantle of covenant. The Spirit and power of Elijah. A “John the Baptist calling” as a friend of the Bridegroom, to prepare the way of the Lord and prepare His bride for this coming moment. 

And this is what I sense the Lord saying. THE TABLE IS BEING SET. THE PREPARATIONS ARE UNDER WAY. IT’S YOUR TIME TO DRAW CLOSE.  YOUR DOUBLE PORTION IS IN THE FIELD!
