DEAR GLORY WATCHMEN,
FIRST—ONE VOICE PRAYER CALL TODAY! Please join us for a powerful time of prayer with a very unique backdrop as Washington DC experiences the remnant of Hurricane Isaias, now accelerating up the east coast as a tropical storm. 

SPEAKING OF ISAIAS—IT IS TIME. This morning as I write, Isaias is just now moving through the gates of Washington DC. The winds are beginning to pick up. Rain is light one moment then torrential the next, propelled by the gusts like waterfalls against our windows. A rhythmic convergence with a sound similar to waves crashing on the seashore.  

In the midst of the storm, from the moment I woke up I have sensed the presence of God. Remember how God’s glory is often pictured as a storm. Ezekiel 1 records how the prophet felt the storm winds, saw the lightning, and experienced the glory. The glory was lifting. Acts 2 records how Holy Spirit was restored to the land in a similar way. He manifested His glory as a mighty, rushing wind. And tongues of fire, the imagery of lightning, burst out of this whirlwind upon all who were gathered. 

As mentioned in the previous post, I believe Hurricane Isaias is a sign to this nation that God’s governmental glory is now here, just as the prophet Isaiah experienced in his day. This is both good news and bad news, depending on whom you belong to. 

Around Pentecost 2019, in Jerusalem then London, the Lord highlighted this passage for immediate manifestation. Reading the passage, I saw how the government of Israel had been thrust into tumult in Isaiah’s day. And by the spirit of revelation I knew that, just as Isaiah experienced God’s governmental glory within a year of his nation’s challenges, we would begin to experience both governmental shaking and governmental glory within a year. The unveiling of the unshakeable Throne would begin.The gates of resistance in the spirit realm will suddenly give way as the government of God moves through the gates. His holiness would be perceived and respected once again. Desolate sanctuaries devoid of hope would begin to experience a renewal. An anointing of holy conviction would penetrate the hearts of God’s prophets and people to the extent we would finally begin to see the uncleanness of our own hearts and lips—and turn. There would be a corporate turning from wickedness. A commissioning would then be offered. 

I am telling you right now, by the word of the Lord, in the midst of this storm the Breaker breaks open. The Sovereign moves through the gates. God’s covenant purposes accelerate in real-time. A supernatural stagnation now yields to breakthrough. Turnaround. A recovery of momentum by the hand of the Lord. Clarity and resolve are recovered. The majesty of the Majestic becomes unveiled. Holy awe begins to encompass a covenant people. A spirit of justice brings holy conviction to many in open defiance of God.

No King but Jesus! From Isaiah 6:

“In the year of King Uzziah’s death (governmental shaking) I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple. 2 Seraphim stood above Him, each having six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one called out to another and said,

“Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of hosts, the whole earth is full of His glory.”

4 And the foundations of the thresholds trembled (or gateposts shook) at the voice of him who called out, while the temple was filling with smoke. 

5 Then I said, “Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.”

6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal in his hand, which he had taken from the altar with tongs. 7 He touched my mouth with it and said, “Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away and your sin is forgiven.”

Isaiah’s Commission
8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” 9 He said, “Go, and tell this people:

10 ‘Keep on listening, but do not perceive; keep on looking, but do not understand.’ “Render the hearts of this people insensitive, their ears dull, and their eyes dim, otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and return and be healed.”
