Jolene and I wish you a very warm Thanksgiving. As a descendent of the Pilgrims, my heart is always stirred by this covenant meal. May your day with be filled with family, friends, feasting, and fantastic new memories. May you win at least a few of the endless card games, board games, video games, or football games that family tradition demands. May love prevail over all discord. 

And may you keep always at heart your debt of gratitude to Jesus for all He has provided. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord!

Please Don’t Divide the Covenant Land!
This Thanksgiving my heart is deeply stirred for Israel. As a nation forged by covenant with God, through the Pilgrims and others, America has been uniquely summoned to stand with Israel. And yet we have heard that Israel—and even Jerusalem—could be divided as a result of our own efforts. Possibly as early as January 2018!

As our diplomats take the lead in establishing a Mideast peace accord, we cannot disenfranchise Gods’ covenant land. I feel it is imperative to pray and stand for a new way forward. 

And therefore I am looking at Revolution 2017 with fresh eyes. From inception, Revolution has been called by the Lord as a “Continental Congress.” A governmental convocation of His ekklesia, summoned together to set a new course for the future. 

And as far as I know, Revolution is the last major gathering of the “ekklesia” in Washington DC before the Mideast peace deal is potentially announced. If you are an intercessor for Israel or America, your voice is needed in DC this Hanukkah—to governmentally legislate this issue in prayer. 

Continental Congress—Honoring Covenant
Last week we made a major announcement on our call. The prophetic theme of Revolution this year is “the Midnight Cry.” It’s important to remember that the midnight cry is a summons to a wedding! 

For this reason we are honoring covenant—with Jolene and me and many other couples renewing marriage vows, with a special commissioning of all participants, with a consecration of the Museum of the Bible, and with a celebration of America’s covenant restoration in Christ. 

Vision—States Married to the Lord!
During the Global Prophetic Summit last week, the Lord gave me a vision of representatives of each state walking down the aisle, declaring their state “married to the Lord.” What a key time to see each state covenantally aligned with God’s Throne! We are therefore incorporating a special ceremony at the Museum of the Bible, America’s “Ark of the Covenant,” to see each state receive this blessing of covenant consecration. 

When I saw the vision I knew this also represented a new covenant alignment between each state and Washington DC. This is so important. By verdict of Heaven’s court, the covenants with death and hell which previously defined our respective connections with Washington DC have been annulled. Honoring this new covenantal alignment is crucial to see His government released. I believe this is our highest function as a Continental Congress. 

Continental Congress—Israel
What I didn’t know until now is that God also desires that we declare our covenant alignment with His dream for Israel. State by state. Knowing that as we honor His unbreakable covenant with Israel, our respective states will be blessed in return. 

Friends, we must take our stand. Hear me in this. Israel is the only nation in the world for which God cut covenant with Himself to claim. He descended from Heaven with a smoking fire pot and a burning lamp! And He is calling His burning lamps together at this time to honor His unbreakable marriage bond with Israel. 

We cannot acquiesce our leadership in this. Because mandating the division of God’s covenant land potentially unleashes division within our own states and nation. So much better to empower His covenant and see His covenantal blessings flow! 

So lets align. I hope you can see that this is such a key time.

I know the proximity of this gathering to the holidays may make things inconvenient. But as we gather over Hanukkah, we know from our heritage that it’s a key time for spiritual revolutionaries to set a new course for the future. The Maccabees overcame the strongest army in Israel to reconsecrate their Temple to the Lord. George Washington crossed the Delaware to overcome British forces and turn the tide of the American Revolution. 

What will the history books write about you? Hopefully that you took your place among the generals, and turned the tide as well.

Hanukkah—from DC to Jerusalem
Final thought. Jolene and I had already planned to leave for Israel immediately after Revolution! The Lord directed us to spend the final days of Hanukkah in Jerusalem after our Hanukkah consecration service here, re-empowering a covenant bridge between Jerusalem and Washington DC. 

We felt the Lord leading us to stay through early January. My mind was focused on an extended honeymoon after renewing our vows. Starting the year off in prayer as we always do—but this time from Jerusalem. 

What I didn’t perceive is that the Lord had actually orchestrated our time in Israel to coincide with the potential announcement of this peace plan. We are therefore going to carry your witness and prayers with us from this Revolution gathering to Jerusalem. Seeking God together for a new way forward! 

You cannot make this stuff up…

So—covenant blessings to each of you. And as always… no King but Jesus!
