HAPPY 250TH! AND THANK YOU FOR ENGAGING WITH US in the Appeal to Heaven Project, through 7-22. Today marks the first day “between the straits.” And it is still amazing to me that the entire globe is focused on the Strait of Hormuz, half a world away, which has the power to either accelerate the global economy or send it spiraling. 

Please pray for wisdom and breakthrough for President Trump and team in dealing with Iran. It’s bigger than we know.

AS WE LAUNCH TODAY, Jolene and I have the privilege of joining Mike and Cindy Jacobs in prayer for Congress etc on Capitol Hill. Amazing to ponder 250 years ago when the Continental Congress made their declaration. THANK YOU JESUS!

Of course, their decision was costly. Not just due to threats from Britain but due to empty coffers. Again and again George Washington approached Congress for funds. Again and again congressional delay caused him to engage the affluent British forces with deficits of ammunition and threads for uniforms. 

Resolve alone prevailed. That’s a great lesson for all of us. 

As the Battle of Yorktown took form, George Washington was faced with a dire dilemma. No funds to fight. Just as the window opened to finally gain victory. 

George Washington’s great question was how to provide for the army to actually access the window and win the war. He turned to patriot friend Haym Salomon, a Jewish benefactor, and asked for the funds. 

Salomon came through. The patriots engaged. And America became free.

With this, Jolene and I have a question for you. Can you help us? A window of opportunity to turn the nation has again opened. I say this with all sincerity, no hype. Because we know it in the depths of our being. 

We are fast approaching the west coast tour, where we will engage and fulfill our role towards this end. The Bible says that no one goes to war at his or her own expense.
