DEAR WATCHMEN,
THE LEADERS OF IRAN, TURKEY, JORDAN, SYRIA, and many European nations lined up to demonize Israel at the 2026 United Nations General Assembly, blaming the nation for terrorism and global instability. 

Iran’s Pezeshkian declared Iran never promoted terrorism but instead was the victim. President Emmanuel Macron of France had the audacity declared that Hamas ‘never operated’ in the West Bank.

While this macabre charade of kings was playing out, the son of Israel’s ambassador to the United States has now nearly died in a terror attack while guarding the Maccabim checkpoint into the west bank. He remains in critical condition.

According to the Times of Israel, “An Israel Defense Forces reservist soldier, the son of Israel’s Ambassador to the US Yehiel Leiter, was seriously injured in a car-ramming attack at a checkpoint in the central West Bank on Wednesday.” 

Pray Now
PLEASE STOP IMMEDIATELY AND PRAY FOR NERIA LEITER, son of Israel’s Ambassador to the US. Pray for his life. Pray for a miracle of healing. 

In this request I am echoing the request of Ambassador Leiter himself. The Washington, DC-based leader was participating in the UN General Assembly in New York when he got the news. He is now on a plane returning to Israel.

“I am grateful to the IDF, to the medical team at Shaare Zedek who are now fighting to save the life of Neria Dov ben Chana, and for the prayers of the people of Israel,” Ambassador Leiter wrote on X. “I BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF PRAYER and I believe that when the people of Israel unite, miracles happen. NERIA NEEDS A MIRACLE” (capitalization for emphasis mine).

About Ambassador Leiter
It is a verdict found only in the courts of hell that Israel gets blamed for terrorism at the same moment one of its most prominent leaders suffers the near-loss of his son from a terrorist attack. 

But that’s not the only loss Ambassador Leiter has recently suffered. A few years ago Jolene and I attended a presentation documenting the atrocities of October 7 at the Embassy of Israel in DC. Ambassador Leiter had just been installed. And he addressed the leaders gathered through tears about the then-recent death of his son Moshe, a major in the IDF who was killed in action by Hamas in Gaza. 

Now not only has a son been lost in Gaza, but now another of his sons has been imperiled at the Maccabim checkpoint. 

About that checkpoint. Let me briefly clarify that the Maccabim checkpoint is not on some obscure road in a remote West Bank town. Instead it is on historic Route 443, a prominent four-lane highway from metro Tel Aviv to Jerusalem which runs through a portion of what is now called the West Bank. The brutal intentionality of the terrorist is very clear. What is not yet clear is whether he was intentionally targeting the Ambassador’s son. 

Together Lets Turn the Tide!
AGAIN, STOP NOW AND PRAY FOR NERIA. And lets finally come to our senses, pray for Israel, and TURN THE TIDE of this scourge of Jew-hatred. It should be clear to all that Anti-Zionism is absolutely antisemitism. And it’s not just present among leaders abroad, it’s actually pushed right here among leaders within our own government. TIME TO TURN THE TIDE!
