SHAVUOT: SOWING TO THE SPIRIT
Jolene and I are so encouraged by the response to the Glory Procession project. Many have said how it “just seems right” for the season we are in. We will be the first to admit we don’t fully understand all that the Lord wants to do. And we feel privileged to walk with you through this journey of discovery.
Within the past few days, several people have spontaneously contacted us about donating towards the Glory Procession project. Others have spoken to us about becoming partners for the journey and beyond.
We know the Spirit of God is prompting this. Your support is needed and appreciated for the journey and beyond. And I can’t think of a more appropriate time to sow towards a work of the Spirit than Shavuot, or Pentecost!
A Confession…
In the interest of taking this journey together, I have a confession to make. We began this “By My Spirit” prayer watch after the Lord clearly spoke that the 13 Colonies project was being administrated more than it was being birthed. And He wanted us to step aside from the busy-ness of ministry travel for a month to see His covenant purposes birthed in prayer. Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord!
The Lord asked us to extend our trust in Him financially—for the month of May and for the 13 Colonies prayer journey. Like every other aspect of the project, I felt the Lord wanted us to remain silent about our finances until He gave the “green light” to move forward and share.
For this reason, we have simply remained in prayer about our financial needs, trusting Jesus for our provision. Honestly as a witness before the Throne that we are not looking either to man or ministry for our daily bread, but to Him.
Sowing to the Spirit: Glory Procession Offering
Within the past two days, prophetic friends have begun to speak to us about receiving offerings for the “Glory Procession” journey. That the Holy Spirit will bless the offerings. And as mentioned before, within the past couple of days special offerings for the journey have also begun to come in!
Just like you, we are simply seeking to earnestly obey the Spirit of God. My guess is that He has already spoken to many of you about helping to fund this forerunning endeavor. Please be in faith with us for $20,000 for this journey. We’d be so grateful if you consider a generous donation today. You will be sowing into a life-giving release of God’s covenant work for our land.
We do feel what many have expressed to us—it’s the right time for a “Glory Procession” to see God’s purposes accelerated on the east coast and in the nation. With this at heart, lets sow to the Spirit, and of the Spirit reap life everlasting (Galatians 6:8). HE WILL BLESS YOU!
