Birthing the Next Phase of Prayer Storm
You might have noticed that the body of Christ and the governance of nations are in an incredible season of realignment right now. For us, this is especially true. It’s been nine months now since James Goll put his mantle on Jolene and me for the global movement called “Prayer Storm.” If you know our friend and mentor, you know James Goll is uniquely equipped as a catalyst of divine disruption. His favorite word is “Surprise!”
And the transference of this mantle was a total surprise. I’ll never forget the date. Because on 12-12, 2015, during the Jewish festival of Hanukkah, a holy fire was imparted to us from James that forever changed our lives. We look forward to praying with you!
Home births are kind of trendy now, and I guess Jesus wanted us to return to the land of His birth for the birthing of this next phase of Prayer Storm. Because nine months later, I am writing you today not from Washington DC, but from a home overlooking Mount Zion in Jerusalem. Just last week the Lord spoke suddenly to us to go. We departed on 9-11, and landed in Israel on 9-12, 2016.
By no means did we plan it this way, but from 12-12 to 9-12 makes precisely nine months from the date this mantle was imparted! To the very day. Scary, in a James Goll, encounter God kind of way.
And I guess it’s really appropriate that this next phase of Prayer Storm be released from Jerusalem. Many people, myself included, make the mistake of assuming Washington DC is actually the governmental center of the entire world. As Washingtonians we really like to believe this. And unfortunately our actions often reflect this belief.
But it’s simply not so. The Bible calls Zion the throne of the Lord, and the throne of the nations.
Consecration at Shiloh
And we knew Jesus invited us here to consecrate ourselves and this Prayer Storm movement for this next phase. I am just beginning to grasp this. But an encounter with the Lord yesterday brought significant revelation. He met us for this consecration at a little village called Shiloh.
Shiloh has quite a history. The Ark of the Covenant rested there for 369 years, from the reign of Joshua all the way to the days of the prophet Samuel. God’s glory hovered over this ark, connecting Heaven and earth to the extent that Shiloh became the governmental center of Israel. The twelve tribes gathered at the Tent of Meeting to encounter the Lord and then possess their land.
In short, Shiloh became Israel’s first “throne of glory.” That is, until a corrupted priesthood provoked the Lord to lift His glory. Covenant with God was breeched, and the Ark of the Covenant was sent into captivity. When David restored the Ark, he built a tabernacle on Mount Zion, Jerusalem for His resting place. The Ark never returned to Shiloh.
Eventually the corruption of the priests and people—through idolatry and sin—caused the glory to lift from Zion as well.
The Storm of God’s Glory
Never forget that God’s glory is a storm. Ezekiel saw the glory of God as a storm wind. A tornado. A prayer storm.
Maybe you’ve experienced this storm already. Its wind will sweep you right off your feet. Its lightning will ignite your spirit. Its rain will flood your heart and release the reign of the King!
Yet in Ezekiel’s day, this wind-formed portal lifted from the temple back to Heaven, launching Jerusalem into desolation and the people of Israel into captivity. Friends, the example of Shiloh and Zion should resound as a warning to every nation! A move of God can be stopped. The glory can lift. Covenant with God can be broken, even His covenant with nations. The destiny of nations can be rescinded.
But covenant with God can also be restored. People and even nations can be born again. We’re going to get into this a whole lot more in the months ahead.
But at Shiloh, surrounded by the rocky ground and mountain vineyards of Samaria, I saw by the Spirit that He is now restoring His glory to Shiloh. To Jerusalem. And to many cities throughout the earth where His glory once dwelt. God is restoring His glory and releasing an end-time move of His Spirit. A PRAYER STORM!
A Time of Consecration
Final points. In Jerusalem we had already asked the Lord to consecrate us to assume the leadership of Prayer Storm. But in Shiloh this consecration went further. Through many tears we dedicated ourselves to stand before Him as priests of the Lord like Samuel, daring to live uncorrupted for His glory instead of embracing the sin that causes His glory to lift!
And we are searching the nations of the earth for people of like, precious faith. Like you. Willing to dedicate yourselves as an uncorrupted priesthood before His Throne, for a move of His Spirit to be initiated. Make sure you respond to Christ’s invitation!
Global Prayer Storm
God actually sealed our consecration with His response. Unexpectedly, Amos 9:11 began to reverberate within my being. Now if you’re like me, you have this passage on the Tabernacle of David memorized—backwards, forwards and sideways. It’s God’s promise of a global prayer movement centered on intimacy with Him, after the pattern of King David.
But if you’re like me, you probably haven’t read much beyond the initial promise of Amos 9:11. What is in God’s heart as He restores this movement to the earth? Lets reach a little further.
11 “In that day I will raise up the fallen Tabernacle of David, and wall up its breaches; I will also raise up its ruins and rebuild it as in the days of old;
12 “That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the nations who are called by My name, declares the Lord who does this.
13 “Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord,“When the plowman will overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows seed; when the mountains will drip sweet wine and all the hills will be dissolved.
14 “Also I will restore the captivity of My people Israel, and they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them; They will also plant vineyards and drink their wine, and make gardens and eat their fruit.
15 “I will also plant them on their land, and they will not again be rooted out from their land which I have given them,” says the Lord your God.
Two things stood out to me which I had never really perceived. First, the Lord is restoring this movement not only to bring us into a new level of intimacy, but also to possess the nations which are called by His name. A Global Prayer Storm!
When we dedicated ourselves at Shiloh for His Prayer Storm movement, my insides began to quake. It was as if the very ground where Joshua launched his troops to possess the land began to burst forth with anointing. An anointing to possess the nations called by His Name!
Second point. Amos 9:13 actually prophesies that the mountains of Samaria will drip with sweet wine. The mountains around Shiloh are right now covered with vineyards for the first time in thousands of years!
The mountains are dripping with sweet wine. This Prayer Storm that releases God’s glory to cities and nations is NOW IN PLAY!
The final response from the Lord on this hill called Shiloh was a revelation of the journey we are now on. Jolene and I were compelled to fly to Jerusalem specifically on September 11, or 9-11. We landed on 9-12, nine months to the day that James’ mantle was imparted. We prayed in Jerusalem on 9-13, and in Shiloh on 9-14. Seeing with our own eyes the very vineyards prophesied in Amos 9:14!
And you are receiving our posting, chronicling the birthing of the next phase of Prayer Storm, on 9-15.
Is it coincidence? I believe the Lord is reaching down from Heaven to synchronize us all with the end-time movement He is now bringing to birth. Amos 9:11 through 9:15. Prayer Storm’s global commission!

It’s time for harvest, healing, restoration and revival. It’s time for the nations to shake. It’s time for a Global Prayer Storm to fill the earth with His glory!
As of 9-11, the next phase of this Global Prayer Storm is now being released. Consider this your 911 Call. Together we will light the nations with His glory!
