“Light the lamps and pitch the tents, for this year I tabernacle with My people!”

We had just crossed over into 2012, ministering with our friends Becky and Allan Greenstreet in Danville VA when Holy Spirit spoke this to me. I literally trembled. There is an open heaven there, and we love to hear and experience the word of the Lord.

At the time, moving to DC was not even on our grid. Davids Tent wasn’t on anybody’s grid, except possibly for a young dreamer named Jason Hershey.

Today, we are only four days away from 24/7 worship and prayer on the White House Ellipse from Yom Kippur til election day, November 6! God spoke to us in the beginning of this year not only to prepare us, but to give us expectation of what is to come. HE DESIRES TO TABERNACLE WITH HIS PEOPLE THIS YEAR!

Those who signed on to be Davids Tent intercessors heard yesterday how the Lord came through for us with the National Park Service. They have been great to work with. TODAY THE PERMIT IS ISSUED!

Days of Awe, Days of Decision
Remember how the Days of Awe are key days to align with the Lord for the future. Jewish tradition holds that God writes His destiny for individuals and nations on Rosh Hashanah, and seals His verdict on Yom Kippur. During the 10 days from holiday to holiday, a window is open through repentance to align again with God’s heart and covenant. We can “redeem the time” and see a better future! (Acts 3:19).

So far Holy Spirit has emphasized:
Choosing Israel, and choosing to align with Israel
Choosing the grace of giving
Choosing to rend our hearts
Choosing the prayer movement–and consecration for a new level
Choosing the lampstand of first love devotion.

Bridal Canopy Vision
According to Genesis, God made man on the 6th day. And on the 6th day, we are choosing the very thing on God’s heart as He made man–to tabernacle together!

Throughout the year we have shared how the Lord has emphasized Cindy Jacobs’ vision of the bridal canopy over our land. Back in 1997, Cindy saw an “X” over America. She knew that the enemy was seeking to “X out” our nation. As leaders were praying, the vision literally showed the “X” transformed into a bridal canopy.

I am among many who have been praying into this Bridal Canopy vision every since. And it is remarkable how Holy Spirit speaks to you according to a word or vision as you continue to pray. He shows you steps ahead, and He shows you timing!

Prophetic Timing for Fall–Tabernacles!
For this reason, we have held the most anticipation in our hearts for this fall. We knew the enemy would try to “X us out”–and Lamplighter Family, THANK YOU for partnering together for the enemy’s work to be disempowered. We also knew that the Lord will bring a fresh move of His Spirit to “birth” this next phase of the restoration of the Tabernacle of David–from Washington to Washington.

Tomorrow is the final day of the watch Jolene saw in a dream. The Lord spoke to her, “Between Sept. 1 and 22, something is coming that will affect every household in America.”

Interestingly, tomorrow is also the first day of fall. Extra vigilance in prayer needed over the fall equinox!

Note that we will move from Yom Kippur to the final fall feast, which is the Feast of Tabernacles. This is a time when all of Israel would leave their own homes and farms to make pilgrimage to Jerusalem, their capital city. There they would seek God and camp out together as families. IN THIS HISTORIC SEASON, WE WELCOME YOU TO DO THE SAME!

Birthing Prayer–Final Push!
We felt that Sept. 1-22 were days to watch over America and Israel and give ourselves to forerunning prayer for Davids Tent.

Remarkable to witness the events of September 11 this year. The world has again changed. Yet it seems like the challenges could have been even worse. Lets continue to watch with vigilance!

And as James Goll emphasized in his prayer call September 12, this aspect of watching for America and Israel must continue. Homeland Security Prayer… Shields up! We’ll be sharing more on this soon.

As we continue to “protect and defend,” we are now shifting into “birthing prayer” as well–a final push for this “tabernacles” expression in Washington DC and across the nation.

Pray for Holy Spirit to partner with you to bring to birth this move of the Spirit. Pray much in the Spirit, being sensitive to the nuances of His interaction with you. Give yourself to travailing prayer, as your tongues shift into a more intense and deep expression. Pray until you move into a new level of breakthrough!

Just keep your eyes open. Ok?

Bridal Canopy
“When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and has purged the bloodshed of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and the spirit of burning;

Then the Lord will create over the whole area of Mount Zion and over her assemblies a cloud by day, even smoke, and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; FOR OVER ALL THE GLORY WILL BE A (BRIDAL) CANOPY” (Isaiah 4:4-5).

The glory of God restored. God tabernacling with His people. Awakening. A covenant people, who have totally gone astray, joined back to their bridegroom. A divided Bride joined back to herself. First love devotion rekindled as a holy fire in the tabernacle.

The next phase of restoration of the Tabernacle of David.

We are entering into quite a season. Jolene and I look forward to visiting with many of you at Davids Tent! As you have invested into this coming move during these 22 days–as you have aligned your heart with the Lord–know that He is coming to TABERNACLE WITH YOU in a profound, personal way!
